Back in 2013 he contacted me to help me raise funds for my son Ryan who needed treatment for cancer. Unfortunately he took all the money he raised he used it to pay for the venues, a new laptop, and projector and he took £3000 he helped raise for his treatment. I got the balme and called everything under the sun till a couple of years later when the truth come out. Hello. It pains me to write this on here so publicly, but there is someone called Evan Boothby. He is a magician, and goes by various different incarnations: Robbie James Entertainer, Mr E Magic and Ev Boothby. Sadly, he was booked for a gig on 11th December via Zoom, but failed to show. He took £200 from us and hasn't returned it. Furthermore, I reluctantly write this as Evan Boothby is actually my cousin. The article about his dishonesty and theft was published in a local newspaper and it seems that we're not the only people who have suffered at the hands of his dishonesty. I asked MisterE to come to my friends birthday party. Thankfully he wasn't booked on that day so was able to do the show. My friend is really shy and was so worried that she would be pulled up on stage . He was able to totally put my friend at her ease to the point where by the end she told me she'd had a wonderful time. Thanks Ev for bein an amazing entertainer and magician. Evan performed at our wedding he was amazing had everybody laughing the whole time got lots of my guests and family up on stage he was hilarious the only downfall was I didn't book him for long enough we could of watched him for hours definitely would book him again thank you again x
