About

Ronald Walter, was the owner and President of Mission Valley Roofing, Inc. and has been in the Roofing Business since the late 1960’s. He has a broad based experience in the Roofing Field, utilizing a variety of roofing, carpentry, and plumbing skills.

In the early 1940's Ron's dad started in the roofing business in the 1940’s and was a Licensed Roofing Contractor since 1952.

Ron has been active in the community; helping with projects such as Habitat For Humanity, Boy Scouts, Girls Club and has helped with December Nights (formerly Christmas on the Prado) as a member of the Community Christmas Center Committee. He was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Community Christmas Center Committee in 1988 and served as Vice Chair in 1991.

Serving in the San Diego Roofing Contractors Association, Ron helped set up and maintain a Roof Training Program from 1989 to 2005 and was on the Board of Directors 1990 to 2004.

Ron has been a member of the National Roofing Contractors Association since 1995 and was awarded the Golden Circle Award (For Service To The Industry) in 1996 for his work in the Roof Training Program in San Diego.

He became a member of the California Roofing Contractors Association in 1996 and was awarded the Contractor Of The Year in 1998. Ron served on the Board of Directors for the California Roofing Contractors Association in 1999.

Over the years, Ron has seen all types of Commercial and Residential Roofing and is very knowledgeable about all roofing systems.

Ron is always up to date on the many changes in the Construction Industry and through him, Mission Valley Roofing, Inc. is continually aware of new products, techniques, and legislation that affects the Roofing Business. Ron has continued to be a “hands on” Roofing Contractor in the County throughout the years.
