Wow! What a fantastic, quality, and above all, FUN experience! It was with some trepidation and a little embarrassment that we booked our first ever family photo session but photographer Mark soon had us all laughing and at ease. He also had some very helpful photo montages of poses to help and inspire those of us who are a bit shy in front of the camera! The shoot started with some test shots to get us in the mood before Mark took some beautiful portrait shots of the children which we will truly treasure forever! We couldn’t resist giving the innovative ‘Mission Cube’ a go and I must say, the results are magical! It’s a brilliant concept! The price was excellent for the service we have received and the outstanding quality of the photos. The turnaround was super quick too which I really appreciated as the shots were taken just before Christmas and were intended to be Christmas presents for family. The chance to get your shots digitally is great too, the lads obviously know the importance of sharing things online these days. I can’t thank, or recommend, Mission Photography Studios enough! Just had mine and cobys picture done professionally by Mission Studios steve was amazing. Collected my wedding photos up today and have been thinking all day how to put into words how amazing they truly are. Mark and Steve captured every detail of our day and really brought the day back to life - more then I ever imagined possible. Not only are the photos absolutely perfect but having Mark and Steve there on the day was just a service in itself. Both were great with the guests and the feedback from everyone present was just echoing how brilliant they really were. They truly felt like a part of our day and not just the photographers. The support on the morning prior was just something you wouldn’t expect from someone you have only met a handful of times but I honestly don’t think it would have been the same without them! I don’t actually know where to start with Steve and Mark! They were both absolutely fantastic and they captured every inch of our wedding day and I couldn’t be happier with the photos we have been given. What do you love most about your job?
The awesome people we meet along the way. Whether it is shooting an event, capturing the special moments at a wedding or creating amazing portraits to us it's all about the friends we make along the way.
What inspired you to start your own business?
It's 2017 and halfway through a wedding - while the couple enjoyed their food - we're having a bite to eat ourselves and chatting about how much we enjoy working together. Having both had our own successful solo photography businesses for several years we realised that it's much more enjoyable working with a mate. In fact, we came to the conclusion that we enjoyed working together so much, and had been to so many weddings together, we decided it may be time to finally "tie the knot" and launch a new business.
We're very different in many ways - Steve is a dog person (he has two) and I have a cat. He loves his meat and I'm a veggie. He's a beer man and I prefer coffee.
But one thing we very much agree on is our passion for taking great pictures.
