I've been to a couple of wedding receptions here at MVCC and always have had a good experience. This last time I was the Director of the Feast and interacted with the staff on personal level. All of the staff was more then eager to help where they were needed with the schedule for the night as well as taking care of any hiccups with the sound system and serving the food. There are some great places on the golf course for wedding photos as well, which is convenient for having your reception at the same location as the photo shoot. Parking is plentiful and the Country Club also offers a portable Bar for your guest to purchase cocktails during the reception. More...

Richfield High School Class of 1969 just held their 50th reunion at MVCC. It was a fantastic experience. Patricia and her team did an absolutely exemplary job insuring we had a memorable evening. We are not members. We played today because we bought a round of 4 at an auction. Great course! Fairways pristine! The greens had been aireated recent and were in good shape. Staff was very kind and made us feel like members for 1 day. Great Vibe! Highly recommend this course! More...

We got compliments at our wedding reception that it was one of the best weddings people have ever been to because of the amazing staff, food, and decor in the ballroom! Patricia was so easy to work with and made sure that our day was perfect and that we didn’t have to worry about a thing during the reception. The MVCC was a wonderful venue to host my loved one's memorial service and luncheon. The ballroom overlooked glistening snow covered hills and gently swaying ornamental grasses which created a serene backdrop for the service. Patricia Mullen the Catering Director took the time to understand our wishes. Her creative ideas made our event more beautiful than we imagined! The luncheon was delicious. Please give MVCC a look if you are looking to have a wedding in the twin cities area.Minnesota valley county club and it's staff made our wedding night such an amazing and memorable occasion. After meeting with Patricia Mullen and the rest of the planning group for a tour we knew this was the right location for us. Patricia's responsiveness was well above par and her expertise in setting up the location and how to flow through the night made our end of the preparation easy and removed SOOOOO much stress from the location side of the planning. I can't even state how beautiful the views of this location are either there are so many fantastic locations for photos on the grounds and we had so many compliments on the views and scenery from guest. To top this off the Chef (Who's name I've very sadly forgotten) prepared what is quite simply the best food I've ever had at a wedding and our guest continued telling us this for literally weeks after the big day was over. The staff themselves were also constantly on the ball I personally never ran out of a drink and they were readily attending to needs I didn't even think to worry about until they brought them up they were ahead of the curve and due to this we and our guest left the night happy without a single complaint. I was married on 11.10.2018 at MVCC and it was amazing. I have been told by everyone that the food was amazing and I can tell it's not like that BS thing to tell the groom that the food was good but a genuine response that the food was absolutely delicious. We went with the petite tender, pan seared chicken breast, and pasta fettuccine as our meal options. We held our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception there. It was seamless transition between each part of the night. The staff is amazing. Patricia, Cynthia, and Kirsten are the best. Them and the rest of the staff made our day so special. Even before the ceremony got started, while we were holding pictures at the venue, we were treated with first class! It probably helped that there was snow on the ground and the course was closed but I can promise you that they will do whatever they can to help you out. They even boxed up our centerpiece displays and other decorations at the end of the night!Five stars, top class, beautiful night.Thank you MVCC. More...

The venue was beautiful - everything we could have hoped for for our wedding reception!! Patricia, the Catering and Event Director, was terrific to work with! She was extremely responsive, accommodating, and reliable. She answered questions promptly (and at all hours) and fulfilled all of our special requests. We had asked Patricia check with the Head Chef if it would be possible to custom make an Asian-cuisine dish that wasn't on the menu, and the chef whipped up this amazing Bronzini fish and sticky rice dish that was delicious! We were also able to get in the day before to decorate, so we didn't have scramble the day of. When we got to the venue, everything was already set up and ready to go - it was stunning! The service, food and setup was all wonderful - definitely exceeded our expectations! Rick, the head bartender, and Cynthia, the Banquet Manager, were very helpful and accommodating the night of also. I can’t say enough good things about the wonderful service and beautiful venue provided by MVCC! What set it apart from other venues were the upfront costs - we did not feel like we were being nickeled and dimed. For example, there was no surcharge for bringing in your own dessert vendor. You are required to use MVCC catering, but the food taste and presentation was excellent. It is, after all, a private country club that runs its own restaurant year-round. We were pleasantly surprised to see our final bill, which did NOT include cancelled dinner entrees or unopened wine bottles. Patricia (event coordinator) responded to all of my emails, no matter how trivial, in 24 hours or less. On our wedding day, she not only made sure every detail was taken care of, but also personally attended to us so that we could also enjoy the events rather than feel like hosts the entire time. The venue served as a great all-in-one site for our small wedding of 75 with a ceremony room, reception ballroom with dance floor, cocktail area and patio, and of course beautiful green grounds for our pictures. Our wedding was in late May, so the flower garden was not in full bloom. However, the bridge, fountain, grass, and trees provided suitable backdrops. During our ceremony, golfers must have been temporarily stopped from walking past the window, because our pictures did not include random people teeing off in the background!
