Such a lovely lesson each week. We really look forward to our Monday's and Friday's! My little girl of 5mths has grown in confidence which makes bath time so much fun and my 8yr old son loves his lessons too! Such a great swimming group! Really well run from Louise in the back office to Maxine who is the teacher and the gentleman who assists (I cant remember his name). Always such a varied class and I feel we cover a great deal in 30 minutes. I never thought that my son at 2 and a half would be swimming with only a noodle. I do feel that is down to the thought through lesson plans and encouragement from Maxine. I take both my children (my son is 2 and a half and my daughter is 17 months) and they have lessons straight after each other. Mini swimming provide a great online portal which tracks their progress - this means I can share with their dad exactly how they are progressing each week. I have previously taken my children to water babies groups and find that it is over priced and each term is simply working towards the even higher priced photo shoot. If you are looking for a swimming group that will teach your children to swim confidently, learning different techniques, whilst still having the time of their lives then this is the class for you. My little girl joined Harlow club with Maxine a couple of weeks ago, it's amazing, it's taking me so long to find a swim club that she will settle in but after minutes she loved it, would highly recommend it here.

My little girl has been coming to classes since she was about 18 months old. She's now almost four and has just progressed from being very nervous to the stage of going into the pool without me. I can't recommend these classes enough. We've had several teachers and they have all been excellent. Currently being taught by Steve and it's amazing how much she has progressed. I cannot recommend Mini Swimming enough!!We have been attending lessons in Frinton-on-Sea with Sam since my little girl was just 8 weeks old! Now 15months old we have made the very sad decision to stop lessons for a while...hopeful to return again in the future. I'd like to thank Sam for his patience, knowledgeable advice & for not pushing my daughter who was clearly struggling more & more every week with her fear of the water, the floats, the armbands, the diving, the jumping, the pool itself, even Sam!...& anything that wasn't a rubber duck basically!!! This fear sadly seemed to appear out of nowhere around 13months. Sam made sure lessons were tailored to her needs and made as enjoyable & relaxed as possible for her during this time, but it became clear her fear was only increasing with every week we attended and pushing her wasn't helping. We came to the decision along with Sam to stop lessons for a while and try lots of swimming as a family in a new environment, without the structure, the pace & commands involved in the lessons that cause her to become anxious prior to even entering the pool...this advice is hugely appreciated & has been working very well so far. Slowly we have seen confidence rebuilding using the techniques Sam has passed on to us. We will continue to do this as a family regularly as recommended and hope to return to Mini swimming Frinton again with our confident little swimmer in the very near future! My daughter Millie and I have been swimming with you since the beginning of the year when she was almost 3 months and she has loved it from the beginning! We initially had Claire but now have Sam (we changed our lesson time to one that suited us better). Both instructors are excellent! They are brilliant with the babies and understanding if for example you don't want to do the submersions. We both love the sessions still hence we are on our second term and will most likely be renewing again next term. The changing rooms can often get very busy and chaotic at times so i think this could maybe be looked into but the actual classes we really enjoy. Thanks Mini Swimming! More...

I have been taking my daughter since she was 6months old. She just loves the water and mini swimming is our favourite part of the week. We love the routine but also every week is different so she doesn't get bored. Special theme weeks are the most exciting! She has grown with confidence and safety. Took my son to first swim with mini swimming when he was 3 months. And it was amazing to see how they helped him grow. We left for a bit and tried somewhere else but realised it wasn't for us. Have been with miniswimming for 2 and a half years - my daughter started at age 3 after lessons at Riverside and it has made so much difference to her swimming. Her water confidence is now amazing and the games she was playing all helped to teach her to swim. My son is 13 months and already sits on the side and independently chucks himself in and is not bothered by the weekly submersions! Admin have been great with finding us new lesson times when needed. I've been taking my daughter since she was 4 weeks old and it's the highlight of my week. She loves the water so bath time is a joy and she has become confident in water which I'm sure will help when she swims on her own. Sam is brilliant with my daughter and it feels like he truest cares and wants to get to know every one of his students. Jimmy has been swimming with Natalie since he was 3 months old and despite a few weeks of him hating the water (during which time Natalie was very patient with him) he absolutely loves it! I have been taking my son swimming since he was 3 months old. From the first lesson I was impressed with how well the instructors (Steve and Kate) adapted the movements for my son. The demonstrations and instructions given are clear and they are both happy to help when needed. I can see how much my son has improved over the past 11 lessons. My little girl has been with mini swimming for over a year now, her progress is amazing can swim confidently on her own. Her teacher is lovely, she loves going each week. Although we have had a few issues with admin, I have to say, I cannot fault the instructors and how well they have all interacted with the children. Working in education, I have always been impressed with how Sam ( Saturdays at Frinton) has got to know the quirks of each individual child and gets so much out of them. In under a year, my son is now swimming 500m plus! The pool is beautiful, the owners make us feel welcome and mostly, my son loves it. Thanks guys. More...

We are halfway through our first term of swimming in Chelmsford with Georgie and my little boy absolutely loves it! Georgie is such a fantastic teacher and the minute Archie gets in the pool his face lights up when he sees her!
