Be sure to check in to save $2 on your order; I forgot to do so until after I paid. (Thankfully, Check In credits can be used on subsequent visits. )I was immediately greeted by the friendly owner. I ordered after arriving so I could first view the entire menu. We wanted three entrees, but only one accompanying rice & no naan. Of course Chicken Korma was a must. Tandoori Chicken (6) & Chicken Tikka Masala rounded out our order. I requested all three be mild. (With a smile, my exact words were "very mild.") As our order was prepared, I spoke w/ the owner. He had a staffer bring me a glass of ice water, which was kind of him. He's been at this location 3.5 years, & runs the restaurant while his wife cares for their three young children at home. She's the cook in the family:) Minerva offers a lunch buffet seven days a week: $9.95 Monday thru Friday, & $12.95 on the weekend. The buffet offerings change daily, & "includes South Indian, North Indian, Indo Chinese, fish, Masala Dosa, Naan, fresh fruits, salads, desserts & many more."Unlike most Indian restaurants I've frequented, I didn't wait for what seemed forever; the entrees were cooked in a reasonable amount of time. We shared all three entrees (w/ lots of food left over to freeze). The chicken korma was delicious. The chicken tikka masala was very good, but I've had creamier. The tandoori chicken tasted great, but we did not receive mild. In fact, we didn't even receive medium. Our chicken was super spicy-- see pic. (I used water in a failed attempt to wash off spices.) But, the tandoori pieces were very large & moist, & the two other chicken entrees were loaded w/ delicious chicken. A complementary dessert was tossed in our bag. Mistakes, such as the one made w/ our tandoori, can happen within every kitchen-- it didn't affect the four star rating. (See pic. of our entrees.)Something special this restaurant does that sets it apart from others is how it prepares takeout; all styrofoam containers are wrapped tightly in seranwrap to avoid spillage on the drive home-- a very nice consideration. Me and a friend tried Minerva last night based on the Yelp reviews. We were so happy we did. Neither one of us can handle alot of spice or heat and we were guided to entrees that could be made to accommodate our palate. The veg samosas were crispy and delicious with just enough kick to bring out the flavors. Garlic naan was crispy and well seasoned. For our main courses we tried Butter Chicken and Chicken Masala. While quite different from each other both dishes were  tender, well seasoned with heavenly gravy. We both really enjoyed our meal.Service was well paced and we did not feel rushed to eat and leave but took the time to enjoy the food and conversation. I usually order take outs every other week and Their biryanis are really good, authentic and very yummy! My personal choice is their special chicken biryani and Gongura chicken which is spicy and very tangy! We ordered our food to go. And since we are used to spicy food we ordered a level 8 spicy which gives good enough heat so that you can still enjoy the food. We ordered several dishes including naan. I was sorely disappointed with the naan. It was hard and undercooked IMO. THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE!! WARNING!! Will ruin other restaurants for you! The staff is incredibly attentive and all have easy smiles. Came for the buffet and it is clear ALL THE FOOD IS MADE WITH LOVE!! Some of it has a serious kick so beware if you're not into heat . The wife was in the mood for Indian after a visit to Costco. We selected this as one of the closest to us with decent reviews. It's a small place in a strip mall and is reasonably conspicuous in its setting. We entered to a fairly empty dining room (there was only 1 table occupied) as it was around 4:30pm. We were sorted of greeted (I find this always to be a tell-tale of the service we would experience). We were seated and within a minute were offered a drink (we went water). The menus arrived - we were pleasantly surprised at the vast amount of options from northern to southern to some apparent regional specialties (we eat a lot of Indian food). I selected one of my favs - a Mysore Masala Dosa - and the woman went with hers - Palak Paneer. I remembered after we ordered that I better get hers mild or else so I ran up to the cash register and made the request. I was grunted at as confirmation of our request. Both came out kind of mild and the dosa was thicker than I'm used to a slightly greasy. It was *very* typical of dosas I've eaten on several trips to India so that screams to me authentic. The wife's meal was different than we normally get in the US and similar to what I've had in India. These are actually positive signs. We also had some pakora against my better judgement (this was appetizer, I just didn't mention it in the proper order). They were cripsy and tasty. The sauces (aka chutneys) were tasty but also mild. There was one server who was really on the ball - he took good care of us, checking reasonably often but I didn't feel he was intrusive. His English wasn't perfect so I had to repeat myself a few times especially during ordering but he was super nice and took efficient care of us, even as the restaurant started to fill up. In the end, the owner/manager showed up (same as when we entered) to ask how things were and we said very good, as it was, and invited us to come see their buffet or revisit, which we will gladly do.I did visit the lavatory to wash my hands. Went here on a whim, glad I did. Â Lunch buffet was $10 and had what you'd expect. Â I found one of the veggie dishes extremely spicy; so much so, that my nose didn't stop running for half and hour. Â My eyes even ran! Â Everything was very tasty, although there were big bits of a spice; don't know what it was, in a couple of the dishes. Â I was pleased to see hot chai on the buffet, but in this 100 degree heat, cold chai would have been better. Â I did not like the things that looked like egg rolls; they were mostly dough and very greasy. The chicken and tofu in all the dishes were perfectly cooked. I was too full to have any dessert, so no comment. Â They had nice relaxing music playing in the background and a tv with sound off - yay! Â The place was very clean, even the bathroom. Â Service was fast getting seated and checking out. Visited today for dinner with a friend! The atmosphere was lovely together with the music :) we were given tamarind and mint chutney to eat with freshly fried chips while deciding on our orders from the menu. We had palak paneer (vegetarian dish), gongura mutton (non-vegetarian dish) with rice and aloo naan! The palak paneer was delicious (it's a very creamy and balanced spinach & cheese dish) and so was the gongura mutton (I chose this dish because of the interesting use of sorrel/jamaica as an ingredient to flavour the stew and absolutely enjoyed it). After we had gulab jamun for dessert (powdered milk dough balls fried in ghee then covered in cardamom flavoured syrup). I ordered the garlic naan, vegetable samosas and butter chicken here to go. It was not terrible but would not say the best I've ever had. The butter chicken is good, more salty and spicier than other ones I've had. I ordered the mild butter chicken and this was a little spicy for me and I like spicy. If you enjoy more spicy butter chicken, then this is the place but I enjoy the more sweet version. So for  The rice mild it down, it comes with green sauce which is not spicy. Been meaning to try this Indian restaurant but because we have such a pick child eater #2 we kept postponing it. Well we finally made it after celebrating finding our new possible home! I tried palak paneer and hubs tried lamb vindaloo. I'm not knocking this down but mine was soooooooooo good. I will convert to vegetarianism if I can eat this every day. It was so spicy, flavorful, highlighted the spinach and giat cheese, which was like firm tifu's cousin but softer. This was one of the best buffets I've been to. As an Indian, the food was quite spicy and very flavorful. Really enjoyed the butter chicken, spicy chicken masala, and paneer dish. For the longest time, my wife and I have been dying to try some Indian food. There are so many local Indian spots near us. This one seem to have the best reviews and have the best location for us. I was shocked to see that the drinks were included in the buffet along with different types of dessert. The price for the buffet is $10 and there are so many options.
