Erickson Coaching is fascinating, understanding how POSITIVE questions when asked the right way in the right context, can truly turn a situation into a POSITIVE outcome. .. no matter how impossible it may have seemed to be.....everyone should learn how to coach....Ireland sources excellent global coaches to present training, the course material and content are inspirational and exceptionally presented. What do you love most about your job?
I guess that there are two things. The first of those things I love are the moments when I am coaching and the client will stop speaking, turn to look at me with wide eyes and I can see the light goes on. He/she has become unblocked, sees what he/she really wants to do and takes control of his/her situation. THEY have taken themselves to that moment through coaching and mentoring and I am privileged to be there at that "aha" moment. By far, its the greatest buzz!
The second is working with people but especially leaders. We can all influence someone to be better and make a difference. When we can work with leaders in this way, then we can affect their managers, their teams to be happier. That happiness comes to the homes and social environments of those people and more people are happy! It goes on - I love that thought!!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have lived a corporate life and allowed it to lead me. However, I have always felt that there was more to me and Mindworks is exactly where I wanted to be - helping people to be the best they can be and trying to play a part in creating a better world for generations to come.
Why should our clients choose you?
I started at the bottom of the career ladder and was lucky to have people support my career at different times. And so, I have worked in Ireland, France, India and Turkey and lived abroad for many years. But I have seen lives destroyed by the loss of balance between career and its trappings and home life.
Many people are unhappy today and do not realize that they have the power within themselves to make the change. My training as an Erickson coach and my life experiences gives my clients the confidence that I have necessary skills and apathy to support them find their answers and to pass to happier and more fulfilled times. In me, they will find authenticity, listening, trust and respect.
