Hi, my name is R.J. I am a mindfulness instructor and coach. I teach my clients various mindfulness practices to relieve stress, worry, anxiety, and negative patterns of thinking. In addition to learning mindfulness meditation and mindful movement/simple yoga, I also coach my clients around how to best integrate mindful presence into their everyday lives.

What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is that I get to help people. And not just that, I can to do it by talking about what I love the most: mindfulness!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was living in Peru, teaching 3rd grade at an American international school. After a few years of meditating (mostly) on my own, it felt time to find my own community of meditators. Though even in a major city of 9 million people, this was not easy. So, I started my own meditation group with teachers I worked with. I led guided meditations everyday Tuesday and Thursday in my classroom, and found tremendous fulfillment in being able to help my colleagues relax and find some peace amidst the busy school year. After about 4 years of this, the calling was too strong. I left classroom teaching to pursue mindfulness full-time!
