Adam and I got married here on the 16th September 2017. The whole day was absolutely perfect, but a big part of that was down to the lovely Gemma, Millbrooks wedding co-ordinator. Gemma is out of this world. She knew exactly what we wanted and we had a good laugh with her while we were in the planning process as well as on the wedding day. She is very professional but laid back- what more could you want. Gemma, we cant thank you enough. The venue is amazing and all staff involved in our wedding day were so pleasant and helpful. Went for lunch today. Thought at first we had made a mistake as it was very quiet, but how wrong I was. Beautiful freshly made food and a lovely lady doing the service. Will definitely be back.

As professional wedding photographers we see lots of venues and the Millbrook is one of the best. Great hotel, fantastic staff and the new 'Folly' is the icing on the cake giving a great location for unique wedding photos, Can't wait togo back.

I got married in the Millbrook on 24th October 2016 and myself and my husband went back at the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We got made such a fuss of. We booked a master suite but instead because it was our anniversary they gave us the honeymoon suite. They provided a bottle of presecco to help us celebrate and even wrote happy anniversary on our dessert. The food was outstanding, the room was beautiful, the staff were all so lovely, friendly and welcoming. To top it off they then let us have a later checkout. All of this is what makes Millbrook so special and I would advise anyone to not only get married here but just go and give the food try. Went in as a group for tea and scones. There was just ONE server!!He really tried his best but there was just too many people and everyone at some point ended up waiting for their tea while others had already been served. I would have liked the tea pot to be left on the table as most people had one SMALL cup of tea and NO refill.When we went to look about someone there was no one around. My Uncle and his wife booked myself and my husband into the Millbrook for our wedding night in April as a gift. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely man, who offered us tea/coffee then escorted us to our room. We were upgraded to the rectory suite. I have to say, it was a gorgeous room, we were so comfortable the whole night. We didn't want to leave the following morning. We had breakfast in the Gilmore? (I think that's the name) -- we both had a cooked breakfast and have to say, food was delicious, very well presented, quick service and staff very friendly. We will definitely be returning in future. Had my wedding reception here in November 2017 and Gemma did an amazing job ensuring the day ran smoothly and the waiting and bar staff were so lovely. The food was to die for!!! Ryan and I got married here on the 23rd march 2018. We would like to thank the Millbrook for giving us such a wonderful day and for everything they done for us.
It is a beautiful hotel, fantastic food and brilliant staff. We would also like to say a special thank you to Gemma for all her help from booking our wedding to the big day itself. I loved seeing her face poke in through the door on the morning of the wedding - i just knew that everything would be perfect. You are amazing at your job.

Beautiful grounds and location especially for a wedding but by far the staff made our stay perfect. Big thanks to Paddy who kept me well fed and watered as well as getting me plasters when I danced too much.
Also the next morning when I wasn't feeling so fresh a kind staff member raided her handbag for painkillers for me.
This hotel went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Thank you!!

My husband and I have just spent a few days here celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We both had a fantastic time the staff were amazing extremely friendly and welcoming from the reception staff to restaurant and bar staff, the house keeping to the night porter Chris (really enjoyed our wee chats). Can't thankyou all enough for the perfect wedding day you gave my daughter and son in law Claire and Ryan Cusick on Friday 23rd March. Gemma you are a diamond in the hotel such an asset I hope they realise this. Another great service from James one of the bar staff who gave us undivided attention when my 10 year old granddaughter (one of the bridesmaids) wanted a mocktail he was brilliant and such a way with him great customer service. Our daughter got married in the Millbrook Lodge Hotel on Friday the 15th June 2018. From the day we viewed the hotel as a possible venue for the wedding the staff have been so friendly and welcoming anytime we visited.
On the day we were treated like royalty from start to finish and all our guests are talking about what a fabulous hotel it is and how amazing the food was. Brendan and Louise the banqueting managers were excellent at making sure everything went smoothly, all the waiting staff and receptionists were so polite and constantly checking on us and making sure everything was perfect for us. I would highly recommend getting married in this Hotel, they made our Daughter and Son in Laws dream come true and gave the guests a day they would never forget too!

We went to Millbrook today for Carvery, and boys was it good. Felt welcomed and friendly staff. Kept meaning to try it one day when driving past at times.

Had afternoon tea just two weeks ago and I can honestly say it was thee best afternoon tea I've ever had! There were 13 of us and two babies and the service was fantastic and the food quality and quantity was brilliant,couldn't fault it and would definitely recommend it!

Tremendously friendly staff helpful and the food and its presentation first class would highly recommend it . My only suggestion is do book in advance as it is very popular with wedding parties especially in the summer months

Lovely views on arriving & nice walkways for a stroll. Once seated the service was quick, the food didnt take long coming out at all, everyone had ordered such a differnt variation of dishes and no one had a complaint, clean plates all around. Mine was lovely, i had surf & turf (rump steak) cooked medium rare & it was cooked to my liking perfect, the accompanying chips were delicious with the creamy peppered sauce. I must say the service was great, the staff were always checking up making sure we were ok and if we needed anything else. It was a family dinner of around 20 and there were a few kids including my own, the kids were kept well entertained as well with pictures & crayon. The staff really knew how to converse with the kids to & kept them well topped up with juice. If the kids are happy the parents are happy and relaxed. This hotel is beautuful both inside and out. Nice to walk around the grounds on the many walkways. Peaceful and tranquil by the old ruins.
Nice place to sit and read or just to relax.
Staff are excellent, polite and helpful. Food is very nice too, served quickly but also worth alittle wait when restaurant is busy.
Would willingly recommend Millbrook House Hotel to anyone and will hopefully be travelling up again in the New Year

With all the work that has been done to the Millbrook it has truly paid off. The Millbrook is fantastic to look at. Although the outside has pretty much stayed the same when you take a look inside its a different story. Truly amazing.
