I made my first stop at Militello's this past Saturday 1/19/19. I bought a loaf of the Italian bread and an apple fritter. They were both outstanding!!! My niece and fiance also met with Mr. Miltello to go over their wedding cake plans during this same time. After learning about the different options in terms of cake style, flavors, etc. they easily made their decision. My family has been ordering from Militello’s for as long as I can remember. Although I moved out of state 8 years ago, every time we come home to Michigan for the holidays or to visit family, we make a trip to the bakery. We always get our birthday cakes, as well as rolls, cookies, and cannolis. This year we came home for Thanksgiving and were celebrating my daughter’s 8th birthday. From out of state, I worked with Gasper Militello over email and the phone to design a unicorn cake for my daughter. The cake turned out absolutely beautiful, was very moist, and tasted delicious. Gasper took several photos I had gathered and worked with his team to design a stunning cake! We purposely ordered extra, and within two days the cake was gone. One of my favorite places for cake. I gained 40 pounds back in the summer of 2015 and I blame the cake (in a good way;). The frosting is the best and their cakes are always moist. I used to stop in once a week for a whole cake, the ladies at the counter would ask me what’s the occasion, told them I just wanted cake. My family started to hate me for bringing home cake twice a week. I would take a bullet for this cake. I plan on stopping by for a mini cake just for me. Mr. Militello and his crew are the most amazing bakers ever! He made our wedding cake and it was absolutely gorgeous and it tasted amazing, we had so many compliments! Everything was exactly what we hoped for! Their cannolis were also, as always, the best there are! I worked with Gasper on a special retirement cake for my sisters retirement party. I wanted the cake to capture things she loves. He nailed it!  The cake, or shall I call it "masterpiece", looked incredible! It was so awesome, we didn't want to cut it. Once we did, it tasted as good as it looked. Militello's Bakery did an outstanding job on this custom cake for my daughters 50th Birthday.  Gasper Militello listened carefully to what I had in mind and added a couple of ideas if his own to create this exiting Rolling Stones design. Husband surprised me with a birthday cake from here this past Saturday (4/21). It was a white cake with white frosting, and personalized with a "Happy Birthday Mom". My husband later told me that our middle son said that "Happy Birthday Mommy" wouldn't fit, what my younger son originally wanted on my cake. My husband said the employee and him both laughed. My middle son was so right. The cake was a beautiful surprise!!! My kids were So Excited to give this cake. And I was equally as excited to have a cake with candles to blow out ! The small cake was decorated with orange flowers which my kids picked out and it tasted as delicious as pretty as it looked! Hubby said the employee sold it to him for only $5!!!  It was close to closing and maybe they were just trying to rid of the inventory or maybe they thought my kids were Uber cute, regardless it was a  delicious cake, beautifully personalized for a great price!!! My husband said they had a awesome looking muffuletta on the counter, and I'm going back to try that for certain. My birthday cake for my 39th birthday was a beautiful surprise! Their doughnuts are to die for. Their cakes are also out of this world! Im not even a fan of cakes but I had one made by Militello's for my brother's engagement party and it turned out awesome. Our 3 ur old wanted a Cookie Monster cake for his birthday party. Our guests said they had the best bakery near them at Militello’s and picked up a cake there and drove it with them from MI to our party in Philadelphia! It was fabulous! I went to help with the soon to be bride with wedding cake. The owner was a really nice guy. Lots of places would just charge you for a cake and not tell you anything while he explained that the cake we wanted are usually high price but he made a deal saying if we bring in the decorations for the cake he would add it. He also explained how big and heavy the cake topper should be and what size table we should use. He didn't have to do all that if he didn't want to but he did and I recommend this place to anyone and everyone More...

Best bakery around! Had a little accident with a wedding cake from another bakery that was poorly put together. Militwllos Bakery saved me at the last minute with a cake that was 10xs better tasting then the original from the other bakery. Excellent service and staff would recommend this bakery to everyone.
