This was our first family photo experience, and Mila made us feel comfortable from the moment she met us. Our family is not the easiest to photograph: my husband and I have unique babies -- we have one enthusiastic German Shepherd Boxer puppy and her 11-year-old big brother, a perpetually hungry, grass-munching, African Sulcata tortoise! Despite this challenge, Mila found ways to capture moments that represented each of our individual personalities as well as our group dynamic as a family. We had our summer wedding 2019 capture by Mila! It was a pleasure working with her for a second time, we had our engagements taken by her as well. I cannot express how thrilled we are that we hired Mila to capture our wedding day. From our first phone call she was kind and super easy to get along with and very open to our ideas. After working with her on our engagement shoot her true creativity came out and we couldn't wait until the big day! Mila was so much fun to work with for our engagement photo shoot session in downtown Chicago! I was a little nervous to take engagement photos at first (mainly bc I don’t think I’m very photogenic! ) but she really made the whole experience so much fun and no stress at all. A few weeks before our session, we met up with Mila to share our ideas and plan our locations, so the day of the shoot everything ran seamlessly. We started at Drumbar (a rooftop bar), and Mila had so many creative ideas for different shots! After that we went to the Chicago Riverwalk and got a wide variety of shots in many different locations. Mila was awesome at directing us on how to pose and where to look during the photos. When we received our photos and were so impressed with the results!!
