What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
An open mind coupled with creativity and technical skill. Some experience also helps, but it isn't always necessary.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What are the photos to be used for ? What is the scope of the project ? What is the timeline for this project ? What is the budget for this project ? Do you need the right to use the images for more than 1 year ? If for a commercial use, who has to sign off on this project ?
What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy the independence of being my own boss and using my creativity to solve visual problems for a variety of clients, no matter where they exist in the world. Figuring out how to solve visual problems using light and the available tools is also a bit of a rush, and quite satisfying.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always been somewhat independent, and since having to work a series of terrible jobs as a youth, knew that I wanted to work for myself.
Why should our clients choose you?
When a client hires me, they get more than a monkey with a finger and a camera. They are getting a thinking, creative person who using inspiration and skill to solve visual problems in a collaborative fashion. We work together to get the job done.

I am able to shoot projects in my own space and have done so in the past. The clients send me their product and I do the job and send the product back to them. I deliver the retouched images to their specification via digital download. The process is quick and seamless.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I have not had to make any changes, as I work independently in my own workspace.
