Love Mike's deli, they goes above and beyond to keep their customers happy. Everytime I go I always get a Reuben (New York or regular they're both good). I've had other sandwiches here but I live the Reubens so much. I went there this past Saturday and it was real crowded and busy and it took a little bit for us to get our order but the gentleman that's in the photos with the celebrities(idk his name) made sure that we walked out with a smile on our face. He gave us free fries just for the inconvenience. Man this place has never let me down and I'm thankful for them. I wouldn't mind owning one, I live in Carson but the drive is worth it. I found this place on a whim, driving down Slauson from the 405 to the 110 (clearly to avoid traffic), I saw this place and figured why not. They serve Boars head meat so that was a perk. I ordered the turkey with avocado on dark wheat bread, grabbed a bag of chips and sat down. Â They called my name, I picked up my food paid, and sat back down. I unwrapped this huge sandwich and thought no way I can eat this lime a normal person. The first bite took me by surprise. It was friggen delicious!!!! It had all of the right flavors and textures you want in a great deli sandwich. I've been there many times after the first visit, I strongly recommend this even if your just passing by. If time permits go after the lunch rush, for the line can get a little long but it's well worth it. More...

Mike's makes some damn good sandwiches. Seriously, they're really good. The turkey pastrami hot on a French roll is my favorite. She likes the low-carb mailmen. It's served in a lettuce roll so it's gluten-free too. The curly fries are spicy. My issue is, why don't they have regular fries? Â Sometimes, nah, for us, most of the time, you just want standard straight up fries. Â Mike's would get a 5 if it would start making regular fries. Incidentally, the wings are good, not great. I usually order and pay online so I just need to run in to pickup. The parking lot is bad. Real talk, the drivers in the parking lot are h-o-r-r-i-b-l-e. It's so much easier if you come with someone so one of you can jump out for pickup and you don't need to park in that lot. Otherwise, I park outside the lot and walk up during busy hours. This is one of my favorite sandwich places in the LA area. They have such a large variety of sandwiches that you are bound to find one you will love and never look back. I always go intending to try a diff sandwich but end up choosing the same one (after trying most of the menu). The staff is so on point that even when it is really busy the sandwiches are the best and served fast! I am always amazed at how they add so many items and the sandwich does not fall apart when you bite into it. How did been here in quite some time let's say it's been about six years however the banana putting the hot wings with the fantastic case of fries to come right along with it and then let's go ahead and get that Zuzu special my wife she got the tuna with cheese it looks great and smells fantastic come on down to Mike's deli

Best deli this side of town, and the only one i go to (except their other location in DTLA).pastrami is the go -to here but have many other sandwiches like bbq brisket i think . every one so far are top notch. the chicken salad is also the best. Went by to grab a sandwich one day. Mike sitting at the end of the counter engaging a couple of star struck customers because he's actually, Mike! Then I went back a couple of days later. Then a couple of days later I went back again and got two sandwiches. I just keep repeating the cycle. Lol. Great environment to go in for sandwiches. You can see that Mike put his heart into the place because it's been around for many years. This is why I spend my money with local businesses, too. He started and worked to grow it. Well prepared food, pleasant and polite staff with very courteous service. The NY Rueben is pretty good. Cole slaw on the side for me! I'll be back soon, Mike. As always...Peace and Blessings More...
