I am a wedding DJ based in Madison, Wisconsin. Mike did a great job at our wedding. Before the wedding, he was really on top of communicating with us and had us complete a wedding planner so we could tell him exactly what we wanted (and didn't want). During the ceremony and wedding everything went very smoothly. The sound level was perfect and he was high energy. The music was great and he played all the songs we wanted. I've been to a few weddings where the microphone either glitches out or you can't hear the people giving speeches so this was a concern of mine beforehand. We had no issues at all, though, with Mike's equipment. Overall, we are very happy with the service he provided. Mike provided DJ services for our wedding. He was great! He is very organized – he asked us to fill out a form ahead of time with all of our preferences and plans, and then later talked with us by phone to ask additional questions. During the wedding, he was very high energy, which was great. He kept things moving at a good pace, so no one became bored. He took our music preferences and was able to match them perfectly. He did not have every song that a guest requested, but he did have all the ones we requested ahead of time. Would give this guy 10 out of 10 stars if I could. Perfect! Was very much a master of his craft! Perfect! There when he needed to be and not when he didn't. Had every detail planned with us to the minute, or would have. We tended to be a bit more organic but when that got off, he was there to get us back on! We picked every song for cocktail hour and the dances though he would have picked them himself. He told us when and why he thought some songs might not work. He knows them all!! I had Mike DJ my wedding reception and was the best! He is very well organized and has a 4 page layout with what you want done and what songs you want played. He was great with a couple unusual song requests I had and was very detail orientated. One of the reasons I chose him was his years of experience, and it really showed that he knows exactly what he is doing. I had no idea what I was doing, and he was great with walking me through everything and making suggestions so everything flowed very well. I did not think there would be much dancing, but he had everyone on the floor til the very end! Thank you Mike! He also drove all the way to Rockford from Madison. I really can't say enough good things about Mike, I would recommend him to anyone for any occasion! Mike Miller was the DJ at our vow renewal where we had a mix of ages. Mike had the 17 year olds out dancing until midnight but had music for everyone. Mike Miller was the most talked about aspect of our wedding! Everyone from young to old said his energy, his song selection, and his professionalism kept everyone on the dance floor the entire reception, and I could not agree more! We decided to hire Mike after our initial meeting with him. He brought along a questionnaire that setup our likes and dislikes and he created an excellent playlist based around that. He also gave me some great advice, if you want your wedding to be filled with dancing then make sure you (the bride) are dancing because people want to be around you. My husband and I did want everyone dancing, took his advice, and combined with his expertise had everyone saying it was the most they had ever danced at a wedding! What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
The secret is my specialized wedding planner which couples use to list what music they want played and do not want played. I have 28 years of experience being a wedding DJ and know which music "works" to fill a dance floor.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I am a high-energy, family-friendly disc jockey. I keep the music at a volume so all of the guests can easily talk to one another.
What do you love most about your job?
I love helping make the biggest event that a couple will ever hold a huge success. I love being around people who are celebrating a wedding.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had been a mobile DJ for 13 years for a company and wanted to handle everything myself. Starting my own DJ company allowed me to personally work with each couple.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
After the pandemic started in March, I wore a mask every second at every wedding reception I have performed at. I was the only person wearing a mask at some of the wedding receptions.
