We had Midwest Selfie at our wedding last night and they were amazing! We got so many compliments on how fun the selfie station was, our guests loved it! There wasn't a single time in the night that there wasn't a crowd at the selfie station. Right from the beginning the communication was great and they were so easy to work with. Angela was very responsive to emails and even coordinated with our graphic designer to create a customized background that matched our invites. Our guests took "red carpet" pictures before dinner and received 4x6 prints, then after dinner they brought out fun props and guests took 4 photos at a time and received photo strips. It was so much fun! If your on the fence about wanting a photo-booth at your wedding I highly recommend a selfie station! It felt so much more inviting and interactive than a traditional photo-booth. Midwest selfies bailed us out on short notice after another photo booth company left us high and dry right before our wedding!
They went above and beyond to make sure our big day was unaffected by the other companies poor service! They custom designed backgrounds for us( ad did a great job matching our theme) and traveled further than most would. Our guests LOVED the booth. It was so fun, definitely worth the money!! Everyone walked away with prints right away, I have copies saved in a guest book (way better than just signatures) I just can't say enough.....We also got rave reviews from my guests about the attendant who ran the booth!! She was kind, welcoming, involved but not over the top. She made everyone feel comfortable and kept the people coming but didn't steal the spotlight. She was the perfect person for the job.

What makes photo booths such a great alternative to traditional photographers?
Photographers are great! You should not think of a photo booth as an alternative to a photographer. Ideally, you want both! The photographer is excellent at getting those perfectly staged shots . Your photo booth is great at catching everyone's personalities. Additionally, your photo booth can capture so many varying groups of people at your event that your photographer just doesn't have time to do! For example, at a recent wedding we were at, I overheard a parent tell a child to go round all the kids up because this was the first time all of the kids had been in the same location ever and she wanted to make sure that pictures were taken.
Another example from the same wedding, Grandma and Grandpa came through the booth and their session resulted in a gorgeous strip of photos.
