The team at Midpointe Event Center are exceptional. We had originally booked a different venue for our reception but found out two weeks before our event date that we needed to change venues due to flooding. They were extremely accommodating to all of our needs for a 250 person wedding reception. Rebekah, our onsite event coordinator was great! She was able to help us map out the space with our tables, buffet set up, and photo booth quickly and stress free. Since we had to plan this event in two weeks they were extremely timely in communication and kept us looped in with any updates and questions we had. On the day of our event, everything was set up as planned, they were onsite and accessible for any last minute changes. The late night staff took care of any issues and helped with clean up. We just had our wedding here on 4/13/19 and it was such an amazing day! For starters, it was the first soccer game at the new stadium (Allianz Field), which is right next to the venue. Midpointe had extra staffing that was managing the parking lot to ensure that our guests had the appropriate parking. The venue itself is beautiful with the mirrors, draping, and chandeliers. There is so much space in the Majestic Hall, it was so wonderful and not crammed at all. The bridal suite is great and we had a great time hanging out in there all day! This is a very nice wedding venue with plenty of space, a great layout, and a nice bar set up. The big windows were a plus, it does need more bathrooms, though. There is plenty of parking! The ballroom is versatile as in the dance floor can be where you want it to be and the mirrors can be covered up with a curtain or exposed. More...

I had my wedding here. I loved everything about this place. It’s a bit pricey but has most of the things you need on your big day. I would’ve giving 5 star but I didn’t get the services they promised to give me. 1: the day on my wedding while i was getting ready the event planner brought someone for a tour without a notice. 2: it was all women event and i highly requested no stuff male should pass through the ballroom but my family had to stop a stuff member couple of times to not pass through but he kept coming back. The team at night weren’t that helpful at all and were doing everything i requested not to do. This is the 3rd time my family had wedding here and each time we faced same issue. As the unofficial wedding decorator and friend of the bride and groom who hosted their reception here, I have great things to say about Midpointe! Part dance studio and part event center, there are 2 main halls that are available to rent and a group of other spaces for smaller gatherings. The reception included around 200 people in the larger Majestic Hall and there was plenty of room for dancing.The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful and to the best of their ability made sure we had everything we needed for things to run smoothly. I was able to get in early in the morning  (9:00 AM) to start setting up and the wall hangings and twinkly lights that were being set up by the event center made the room cheerier and special.  The free parking lot outside was so convenient to load/unload items and for guests to easily use before/after the event. There is a good sized bar and kitchen area and a separate room that we got to use for the caterers and buffet tables. The couple were able to choose their own licensed caterer and purchase drinks ahead of time that were served at the bar. The only downside is that it is not located in the nicest area and there isn't a good place to mingle outside and take pictures. But the most important thing was that bride and groom were happy and everyone enjoyed themselves. We were able to use the event center for a full 8 hours (not including set up time) and I have to stress again how amazing and accommodating the staff were before, during, and after the reception- responsive and very easy to work with! We just had our wedding at Midpointe Event Center a couple of weeks ago and can't say enough good things about the venue or the people who work there. Especially Pavi. She was amazing from the start. She always answered my emails promptly, very understanding, always said yes to all my requests and actually delivered. DS Event Center is a very beautiful location on the inside. The outside is not good to look at. Katie was my coordinator and she was very friendly, helpful, and always responded to my emails very quickly. The only downside is there are a lot of extra costs for every little thing so make sure you have a breakdown of everything and know exactly what services you will need for them. More...

Within walking distance from the Green Line made this the perfect location for the Midway Chamber of Commerce's 'Lunch on the Line'. The staff were friendly and attentive to every detail. The food was delicious! The polished hardwood flooring of the Majestic Hall was beautiful! As a musician I especially appreciated the excellent quality of their sound system. I had my Ceremony and Reception in the Sterling Hall for about 50 to 70 people and it was truly amazing. Staff was very helpful, which made me feel worry free. We have used Midpointe Event Center several times, because they are very accommodating and professional. We have also used them when we found obstacles at other venues they have been able to overcome. The rooms offer different size spaces for different size events, which many other places cannot, though we usually use multiple spaces at once which is also convenient as the smaller studio can act as a room for our sponsors. The parking lot fits hundreds of cars and is conveniently located between the two downtowns, not to mention right along the light rail line. In conclusion, their staff is friendly and easy to work with. We just used them last week for an event of about 130, and are using them again next month for a similar size audience. From the moment that we walked into the Majestic Hall at Midpointe Event Center, we knew this was going to be the place where we got married. From the beautiful hardwood floors, glass chandelier and tulle draped from the ceiling- this hall is a bride’s dream. Not to mention that the staff is equally wonderful. Pavi Versalles was our event coordinator and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. Midpointe Event Center is absolutely beautiful! I held an event in the Majestic Hall and it was the perfect event space - high ceilings, hardwood floor, beautiful draping included, a large kitchen for all of your catering needs, and LOTS of parking available right in front of the venue. Additionally, I worked with Katie and Marcy on the event and they are exceptional at customer service. Katie helped me set up the A/V the day of the event and even assisted when my linens fell through. I couldn't recommend both of their event spaces, Majestic Hall and Sterling hall any more. We hosted a business networking event at Midpointe Event Center and the staff there were amazing. They were all very friendly and made sure everyone felt welcome and that we had everything that we needed for our meeting. The space is VERY nice and spacious. There was plenty of parking space and easy to access from any part of the metro.
