The downside: They took a couple of attempts to figure out what was wrong with my AC. We originally thought it just needed a freon recharge, but we had to replace a hose and then the compressor. I had a great experience at this place yesterday. My tire had an issue so I stopped here to see if they could fix it. The manager indicated they were very busy, but he took the time to look at my tire. Turned out there was a screw causing a leak. Since everyone else was busy he removed screw and plugged my tire. I live in the Woodfarm neighborhood so it's a few blocks to Midas to see Tom and his awesome crew! I'd been grinding on my brakes with a car that's truly the glue that keeps my family together. That car gets me back and forth from the Galleria (from the Woodlands) to our jobs twice a day! I knew riding metal to metal might've been scaring up my rotors but I was at the mercy of whatever work needed to be done to fix my negligence! I was priced by a local shop at almost $600 for brakes so I waited for the estimate (from my new friend Tom) with dread! Tom called with a price that was $300 less than his competitor - treated me like a valued customer and didn't do unnecessary repairs! I even added in the alignment because he came in so under budget! Living paycheck to paycheck at our age means savings like this are tangible! Later that day I was able to afford medical care for one of my animals because of their low cost but high quality repair! Just leaving the Midas at 10025 Kingston Pike in Knoxville, TN. WHAT WONDERFUL FOLKS! Our muffler went bad while we were traveling and these folks found the right fit for our 2004 Toyota Tundra and put us back on the road in a jiffy. Besides going the extra mile to quickly replace the muffler, they were upbeat and encouraging from the first “hello” on the phone. And we sure learned something. Our first step was to go to a Toyota dealer. But they, even knowing we were traveling, took 2 hours before telling us they couldn’t get the right muffler for 5 days. The cost for their installing this wait-for-five-days muffler was going to MUCH MORE expensive. Hmmm, going to Midas sure saved us a lot of money. We are back on the road with a shiny new muffler. Midas in Lubbock, Texas are great and honest people. I usually own high end cars like Cadillac and Mercedes because I love them but not a millionaire to go to dealership and pay high prices for the same job Midas charges very reasonably. I have been taking my vehicles to Midas of Lubbock for number of years and they have never disappointed me. I always recommend Midas to my family, friends, neighbors and strangers who have vehicle problems. This morning I took my Mercedes to them as my SRS light was on. They took it in and prepared diagnostic report as they were not equipped with safety restraint repairs. These repairs are usually done at dealerships. But they were honest enough to let me know about it and did not charge me for diagnosis. Some places they tell you before hand that it’s going to cost you diagnosis fees without even looking at the vehicle. Thank you guys at Midas Of Lubbock Texas. I recently took my 1991 Hyundai Excel to the Midas in Laurel, MD, because the muffler was sounding louder than usual. The service technician found a hole in it, and it needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, since it's an older car that is no longer made by Hyundai, the exact muffler needed was not available anywhere. However, the folks at this Midas were able to modify another new muffler for me and install it in less than 1 1/2 hours -- and at a very reasonable price, too (IMO)! :-) More...

The gentlemen at my Midas are the absolute best! They’re always upfront and honest with me. They do whatever they can for me and they do great work! Xavier will always point out that there’s a coupon online, a familiar face, and never tells me I need something that I don’t. I went to Midas this morning on Thompson Road in Syracuse, NY and was met outside by Mitchell who was very quick to check the oil in my vehicle as I explained my situation. His co-worker Sam came out as well and they answered my questions thoroughly (and I had quite a few). I was impressed with their professionalism and the fact they were able to explain things to me in a way that I understood. It was a great experience. I went to Midas on Airway Rd, Dayton, Ohio because my car was sputtering. I thought it was a gas filter, but followed their advise and went ahead and had the diagnostic done. Turns out not the gas filter at all. I'm glad I followed their advise and didn't try to repair something that was working fine. Mississauga Midas are rip-off merchants. They charge trusting honest customers by not disclosing what all is wrong with the car. I gave my car for oil change and front brake pad replacement. I was told as I am an old customer pass will be replace free under lifetime free guarantee however there is some oil leakage and needs to be fixed. Trusting them I authorized them. When I went to pick my car I noted that they have charged me $ 402 for rotor replacement. When asked they told me that it is an standard practice to change rotors which is not true and not without informing and taking prior approval. When I asked why they did it Adrien Fong who called himself the owner told me that I am lying. I would never recommend these cheats to anyone. Stay away from them. More...

Had a rattle coming from under the car during a recent road trip to the VA. Stopped in at Midas Gainesville Fl. After a quick test drive they took it in and tighten the lug nuts on one of the tires. Today, I stopped into your Keene New Hampshire location. I was on a trip with my 9 year old twins to Madam Sherri Forest and noticed after leaving my car was making a terrible noise. I wanted to make sure it was safe seeing I had my kids in the car with me so I stopped in and asked how much it would be to have them look at it quickly (although being it a day hiking trip I left my cards home and only had a little cash on me) the gentleman behind the counter told me he usually charges 49.99 for the service, but he would gladly take it for a spin down the road for me and see if he could figure it out. He quickly took my keys and drove down the street. Moments later came back to tell me I had a rock lodged under the rim and to give him a minute and he'd see if his manager would allow him to blow it out quickly free of charge. He came back out and took it in to the shop and worked quickly while I went in and spoke with the manager briefly still frazzled from thinking the car was broken. The manager at this location was incredibly friendly and helped calm me down even offered me a cup of tea while my kids and I waited. 5 minutes later and we were on our way back to Maine. I usually don't post to businesses to give feed back but the kindness your employees showed me today, made me believe there are good people left in this world!
