Just purchased a beautiful Yamaha digital piano from Octave. It was an easy and an enjoyable experience, which is what you expect especially when it is a big purchase and you are spending a lot of money. Octave stock the most popular models in the Yamaha digital piano range, Russell spent time talking me through the different models in the store and once I had decided on the exact model I was after then we talked about the different finishes available to me. Octave offer a complete service when buying a piano so once I had made my decision then everything was left up to Octave to sort out. Octave delivered the piano, at a time which suited me so I did not have to wait in all day for a massive box to turn up and then would not have a clue what to do with it. The box is massive so good luck trying to get it through your front door, no chance! Russell unboxed the piano, assembled, installed and tested the piano (saved me wasting an evening trying to figure out how it goes together, no chance) - they even take all the packaging away (by the way there is loads of it, saved me a trip to the recycling centre) all I had to do was sit back and wait until the piano was ready for me to play. It is a joy to play and I am completely happy with everything. Why anyone would consider buying something like this over the internet baffles me - why waste loads of time and energy when a complete service is on offer from Octave Music. Yes ok, I might of paid a few pound more but for the service I received it was worth every penny plus I am supporting a local shop in my home town which means that I can pop in to buy loads of new music which I will be able to play on my new piano! Went to look at guitars last month, I haven't been playing the last few days and wanted to get into it again. I went in kind of unsure what I want, they talked me through all the different options, gave me great explanations on the difference between guitars and let me try them as well. So this time last year I decided that I wanted to start learning piano �. For a 101 reasons I never got around to buying a keyboard to start.
Today I said no more excuses !!! I went to Octave Music in Dunstable, met the owner Russell and I have just purchased a Yamaha to get me going. He was so helpful and inspiring ... awesome guy who is also a Christian ..great story of faith and for me, it just felt like a sign that it’s the right time to start learning.
Who knows where this will lead !!! But I’m excited to see where this will go !!
