Michelle has been photographing my family for years! She's patient, kind, and amazing with kids. I'm always shocked when a photo comes together with my crew of unruly kids because my boys can be a bit wild, but she pulls it off like a pro. She has beautifully creative ideas for newborn photos and doesn't rush the process. Her themed mini sessions (princess, unicorn, sunflowers, steam punk, etc.) are fun and end with some amazing portraits. We do a family photo every year for Halloween in a different set of family costumes, and she's always open to ideas and makes each photo incredibly special.Over the years Michelle has become much more than a photographer. Michelle handled every detail from washing the horse prior to the shoot (wow!), to curling my older daughter's hair, to having gorgeous dresses for them to wear, and accessorizing the horse's mane!

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret of taking great photographs is to be able to see the light and engage the subject.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
1, How old is your child?
2. How is the skin and how are the tear ducts?
3. Are you interested in studio or outdoor portraits.
4. What are the primary colors that you use to decorate in your home?
What do you love most about your job?
I love to watch the children grow up, year after year. The babies are also so sweet, it makes you laugh and smile to see them in such cute poses. I love the looks are parents and grandparents faces as I am working with their new baby.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Several friends who were diagnosed with cancer asked me to take photos of them with their children. At the time I had a point and shoot camera and had no idea what I was doing. The photos made a huge difference in the lives of those people.
Why should our clients choose you?
Clients should choose my studio for newborns because I am experienced and the infant will be safe and handled properly, the photos will be lovely and I have the fairy gardens that are unique to my studio in Raleigh NC.
Senior clients should choose my studio because I am adventurous and fun and go the extra mile to make your images special. If you are shy you won't be with me.
You should choose me to photograph your child because my photography mostly focuses on children as I have never worked a day in my life that children were not part of that day. Having worked with children my entire life helps me to form quick relationships with the wonderful little people that I photograph. God gave me a special gift. I have always known that my gift was the ability to interact with young people in a way that makes them feel heard, important and valued. Many parents have commented that their children, even the shy ones, seem very comfortable while having their pictures taken.
