Michelle Scotti is so many things: kind, extremely talented, creative, adaptive, easy to talk to, and most of all, worth every penny! My husband and I did a portrait session with Michelle while on vacation on Oahu. I selected Michelle because of her eye for expertly capturing both the beauty of Oahu and the subjects she is shooting. She took dozens of stunning photographs of us, including one particular photo that is so breathtaking that everyone we show it to believes we commissioned an art piece or that it's an album cover! We just ordered a huge metal print of the photo and can't wait to admire it every day for the rest of our lives. We wanted to give a special present to my in-laws so we decided to have our family photos taken while they were on island. From scheduling to final edits, Michelle was so easy to work with. She was very accommodating to our schedule and picked a location that was not only beautiful but very convenient for us. The weather on our shoot day wasn’t the best (by Hawai’i standards!) but we got a very small window of great light and a pretty sunset. Michelle certainly maximized that time and began snapping away! Our pictures came out beautifully and you would have never known otherwise. She was also great at working with our semi-cooperative 4 yo daughter. She captured some great expressions that will always remind me of her personality and I couldn’t be more grateful. I cannot express how pleased I am about having Michelle take our family photos! From start to finish her communication has been great and very professional, she updated me from the moment we confirmed our appointment until the day of our photos, even sent "tips and trick" that helped us prepare. Michelle was a delight to work with. First she made it easy to book an appointment all the way from Georgia for the trip we were then planning to Hawaii. I would absolutely book with Michelle again in a heart beat!  She was excellent with our 4 year old daughter and got some really great pictures of all of us.  In fact, the only problem I have is trying to narrow down which photos I'm going to buy, because there were so many fantastic ones.  I am so thrilled that we will have the memories of our trip to Hawaii and my pregnancy with my son memorialized in these pictures, totally worth it, and in spite of being really good she is very affordable! I'm pleased as punch with our first family photos! Michelle had everything that I was looking for:1) Experience working with babies/children (our son was nine-months-old at the time)2) Outdoor photo sessions 3) Reasonable pricingHer calm yet enthusiastic personality was a perfect blend to put us at ease as we were awkward putty in her hands (models, we assuredly are not! ). Omg!! Best photographer ever!! She was so sweet and very patient with my daughter. My kid is only a year old and of course did not want to shit still but Michelle was very understanding and made it fun for her as well. My photos came out amazingly beautiful! Amazing photographer!!! I definitely recommend her! She did my family beach photo session. Communication was great from start to finish, she understood what we wanted and meet us at our desired location. She was very patient with my boys who really wanted to play in the water, she was aware of angles, lighting etc to get the great shots. Amazing with little kids!  Michelle captured our family perfectly, and it was the lowest stress photo shoot I've ever been to (we've done a few! ). Michelle is absolutely amazing working with little kids (our boys are 2 and 4) and she had a few great ideas of little things to make the kids comfortable and happy - it really came across in the pictures - I wish I could attach one here so you could see! We've done 4 photo shoots (with different photographers) in the last 3 years, as our little ones grow so fast, and Michelle was our favorite to work with. Very easy-going photo session, with good suggestions on poses. We live in California, and were turning a business trip into a family vacation, I provided thoughts on what I was looking for in the photos and she suggested the location, which was amazing. Once we saw the photos, I liked the mix of posed and candid; they certainly captured the personalities of our kiddos. We live here in Hawaii and booked Michelle for a couples beach shoot. For the weather conditions we had (windy with sprinkles and grey clouds), she did an outstanding job and captured some really great photos that we will cherish forever. I met Michelle last week for a meet & greet to see if I wanted to book her for my wedding.  Michelle is great - she is friendly, calm, funny, and really makes you at ease (something important on your wedding day! ).  She came very prepared to our meeting, presented her work and packages very thoroughly, and showed that she really cares about her work and her clients.  Her turnover time is really good for a photographer of her caliber, and her albums are at cost.  I have some time to go before deciding on my wedding photographer, but she is definitely one of my top picks so far. Michelle is the ONLY wedding photographer I would recommend. Anywhere. She is thoughtful, creative, and wonderful to work with. Her work is terrific, absolutely the best. She shot our wedding party of four in Hawaii in May. From start to finish, it was a joy. She took lots of photos and the results in our "album" so beautifully tell the story of our wedding day from the moment we arranged our leis and jewelry in the room to the time after the ceremony on the lanai when we posed with our officiant. Michelle and her crew did the photography for my cousin's wedding this spring and they did some amazing work.  They found a few great locations and really worked with the bride and groom to capture the beauty of their love and of the beauty of Hawaii.
