We celebrated our daughter Anna's wedding to George, at Russets Country House last Sunday - 22 September. Tim and Kate from our very first meeting, could not have been more welcoming and helpful, as we planned this special day. Everything ran beautifully on the day, because Tim and Kate and all their staff at Russets, are so organised and wonderfully efficient. We could not fault any aspect. Most importantly, however, is the very personal touch from them both that you enjoy from the beginning to the end of the celebrations. Wow! My wife & I would just like to thank Russets for an amazing day yesterday! Yes the weather could not have been better (Gin clear skies) and the venue has breath taking views! It was the team at Russets that made the day! We all felt relaxed and were able to wander about as if it were our own country house yet were looked after as if in a 5 + star hotel. Recently tied the knot at Russets and it was everything we could have ever hoped for.We loved it from the very first visit and was in fact the only place we looked at. We were well and truly sold. I married my wife here on the 1st August 2019. Kate and Tim were fantastic from the day we booked. They provide a very professional service but with a friendly approach. Our day went exactly how we hoped and this was also down to Kates organisational skills. Such a beautiful venue perfect for everyone. My wife and I were married here about a week ago and it really was the perfect day that we will never forget. While the beautiful interior and grounds are the face of Russets, Tim & Kate are very much the heart. Welcoming, organised and ever-helpful, they answered every question patiently and made sure the day ran perfectly with all the suppliers. There were several times when I went to do things during the day, only to find that Kate had already done them! Well. Where do I begin?. I could write a dissertation about my experience with Kate and Tim and our wedding at the Russets, but I won’t as I guess that’s not the point of this review page. However the whole experience from start to finish was just fabulously fantastic. The location was wonderful and we had great weather on June 30th. The whole ambience was just perfect (with the black swan on the lake in the background observing what was going on). We could not have wished for a better venue, hosts or team. We planned our wedding practically by email from abroad with a couple of on site visits. Kate and Tim went above and beyond to make sure our day went smoothly. Communication was very important and a key part of its success. Kate is very good at this and is the most patient person ever and does everyone with a smile. She kept me on track on the day with getting myself organized for meeting the registrars, my entrance and that my bridal party, as well as with timely reminders as we got closer to the date, especially with the nuances of getting married in the UK. Tim was very impressive in his dark glasses helping to cue music for the various bridal entrances. He met with our band and musicians photographer, to ensure they had what they needed and answered any questions they had. It’s a family business and their daughters ran the bar and were just great! So friendly. They have a fantastic list of vendors which I would absolutely recommend anyone to use. For catering we used their preferred vendor Just Jane. Well well well, the food was gloriously delicious! Our guests loved it and raved about it weeks later. We had a tasting session prior to the wedding and so knew what to expect and they did not disappoint. They were very patient as we asked for the flavours we wanted and the table setting of our choice. They assisted us with staying within budget as costs can quite quickly escalate. They coordinated the table settings, seating, and helped with the table decor and arrangements and ensured our guests had what they needed and were catered for on the day. The chef was fantastic and can cater to any taste or genre so don’t hesitate to just ask for what you want and he can do it. We had a bbq jerk chicken going in the background , while appetizers were being served outside on the grounds. We also had salmon with lots of great side dishes. They even catered to our vegan guests who just loved the food. Flower vogue did my bridal and bridal party bouquet beautifully. South Surrey Cart did our sweets station wish was hit and looked great and matched our colour scheme. To end our day we went out with a bang using their firework display vendor F1 Pyrotechnics The display was magnificent and it was all the guests could talk about afterward as well as the location and food. F1 Pyrotechnic outdid themselves with our firework display that ended with a flurry of colours and bangs and lights, to equally ecstatic oohs and aaahs All in all an absolutely fabulous day. I couldn’t have asked for more in a dream wedding. I would remarry my husband there every year if it was possible. Who knows maybe a vow renewal is in the works! Big shout out to Kate for remaining calm and helping us through the process and Tim for injecting that bit of humour. That being said any good story has a beginning, middle and end…….When we first started to look for venues we tried a multitude of different types of venue but ultimately went to look at what we believed the best in their class; hotel, golf course and of course a country house. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a warm and beautifully presented house. We really got a sense this was less about the business side of weddings and more about the people connection. After looking around the venue discussing options such as catering and entertainment to name a few we left pretty sure where we wanted to have our special day.During the original booking and leading up to the day we had as many or as little conversations with Kate, Tim and their extended team of very professional partners. We agreed a very much non fuss affair and trusted those to make the day what it would be. We saw the team at their opening days and more privately closer to the time. Nothing was too much trouble even when the groom started to panic about table sizes. We had been lucky to be allowed to the venue the day before to set up but on the day itself everything went perfectly. DJ, Food, fireworks, magic mirror… just everything. The team were fantastic in accommodating all of our guest and even those who had their fair share of the bar. I am sure the team see 100s of weddings but it really felt like ours was made special. Words cannot describe how amazing our wedding day was, and Russets Country House were largely responsible for how smooth, beautiful and organised the day was. It was the perfect venue for our special day. Kate, Tim and all the Russets staff were brilliant all day and night. They put us at ease and went above and beyond for both myself and my wife (it's still weird saying wife!) giving us endless advice. They responded to our emails/answered any questions we had within hours and not only were they brilliant on the day, but also during the lead up. They were always so friendly but most importantly down to earth - making us feel so welcome.The venue was absolutely stunning. We loved it from the moment we walked in and we fell in love with it even more on the day. It looked incredible and all of our guests were full of compliments about how beautiful and homely it was! This venue is absolutely stunning, there are so many little touches and flowers everywhere, it's beautiful.As a whole, we had a wonderful wedding day and Kate and Tim were very good in the lead up to the wedding, answering the many questions I had, as a nervous bride. The florist and caterers that Kate recommended were both excellent. They have a great relationship with each other which makes organising everything so much easier. Kate and Tim are wonderful people. They are so helpful and their dynamic as both husband and wife and a professional team is lovely. The venue is fantastic too: the ceremony room is neutral and beautifully serene, the main celebratory areas are modern and colourful, allowing you to choose how much or little you want to decorate, and the grounds are beautifully kept and they have so many interesting areas. I’m so glad we got to have our day there and to meet Kate and Tim. I don’t think we would’ve had such an amazing wedding without their complete willingness to help in any way possible. More...

Wish I could give more than 5 stars. We were married at Russets Country House on 21/10/17 and we could have not dreamt of a more perfect day. The venue is fabulous - spacious, well laid out and so special, the grounds are amazing too! All of our guests said they had never been to a venue like it, and absolutely loved every minute. All the different spaces are worked out perfectly to ensure everyone is happy and comfortable and everything flowed perfectly.

The owners, Tim and Kate are incredibly warm and friendly and they bent over backwards to make sure our day was completely amazing, they were always on hand to help me with wedding worries and throughout the morning made sure I was calm and confident that everything was going to plan. They are so fun to be around and really contributed to making our day as special as it was. All of our family and guests who met them couldn’t say enough nice things about them, and their beautiful venue! From the moment we booked our wedding I felt like we had so much support and guidence, which was great for a very nervous bride like myself. They made the whole process fun and easy and helped make all our visions and ideas become reality.

I can’t recommend this venue highly enough, we looked round many and nothing in the area compared to this fun, exciting, contemporary place with their very personal touches and special feel. Thank you so much for the best day of our lives, we will be talking about it forever!

Literally couldn’t have had a better day or picked a more amazing venue for our wedding on 26th May. We booked 3 years ago we were that eager - haha!

All of our guests complimented the venue and how the flow of the day was perfect. Just Jane also played a huge part in our day and supplied us with the best food ever!

Team Work makes Dream Work and this is exactly what Tim and Kate have! We highly recommend anyone bride and groom out there to get booking, you will never be disappointed!

We got married here on 18-05-18 and had the best day ever!! Everybody said how lovely and different the venue was..it was the first place we looked at and we just knew it was the one.
You can literally convert it into your own place for the day and Kate & Tim are so attentive with this.
They are so laid back and helpful and made the day run so smoothly along with their bar staff and caterers who were also great. Louise from Just Jane is lovely and even helped us with setting up the tables the day before our wedding day.

We got married at Russets Country House on Sunday 19th August. After searching for a venue and not finding the one we stumbled across Russets and we are so glad we did. From the moment they opened the door we knew we wanted to get married there and it continued to wow us the more we saw. Kate and Tim are so professional but so welcoming and friendly. We left feeling excited with loads of information about suppliers they recommended it was such a great help and we hadn’t received this when looking elsewhere. Kate and Tim were always there on phone or via email to answer questions that you may have. We honestly couldn’t have a picked a better venue and we had the most amazing day in such a beautiful venue and setting. The venues standard is so high and stylish. We can also highly recommend Just Jane catering, Simon Grand pianist, Buckwikd DJ’s & Discos and pizza Federicci. These were all recommended by Russets and they are so familiar with the venue it’s so reassuring. They literally make booking and planning a wedding as easy as it can be. Not only did we love this venue our guests were amazed too. We can’t thank you enough for making our day so special. If you are thinking of viewing this venue please do you will not be disappointed. We cannot fault Russets in any way! We got married there in September 2017 and it made our special day perfect. The owners Tim & Kate are so friendly and accommodating, and their girls working on the day are just as lovely. This beautiful home is immaculately kept and has a really special feel to it. All our guests commented on how amazing and different Russets is.They have a great list of preferred suppliers who are just as friendly and helpful too - nothing was too much to ask and they take a lot of stress and worry out of a pretty stressful time!We fell in love with the place the moment we stepped inside, and the wonderful owners and beautiful surrounds make it the perfect place to get married.We wish we could do it all over again!
