In May, I decided needed something completely different, talked to priscilla and I came out with just what I wanted and felt so much happier with my hair, so much so went back for a bit of colour the following week. Priscilla always cuts my hair beautifully, listening to what I'd like and always takes my needs in to account (like thinning it out for me etc). She remembers how I had it last, even though I can go long periods without getting it cut, and it always makes me feel good afterwards. Plus Priscilla is really easy to talk with and I do not feel awkward sitting in the chair with her. I have pretty bad anxiety and situations like that always set me on edge but Priscilla makes me feel at ease and makes conversation easy. She's a lovely lady and I love catching up with her whilst she chops away at the nest I've let grow on my head. Wouldn't get my hair cut by anybody else! The rest of the staff are just as welcoming and really take into account your needs. It's a fun, welcoming environment. Definitely recommend. More...

Jamie-Leigh was exceptional. Lovely bubbly vibe, professional yet very much interested in the client (being me) She transformed my hair entirely. I have anxiety so hairdressing settings aren't always good for me but she made me feel very welcome and calm. I was mesmerized by her ability to help me make a change to my hair but was not pushy in the slightest. I actually live in Norwich, Norfolk but I will be making the trip up here to have my hair done by JamieLeigh from now on. I'm gutted there was no option for a tip on the card machine. I’ve been on my hair journey with Amy at Michael John Hair Artwork for the last 2 years. When Amy began looking after my hair, she ran her hands through my mop and hair broke off in her hands. My hair was a brassy yellow from home dye kits and cheap hair products. Amy talked me through my options and took the time to get to know my hair routine (or lack there of!) before beginning to work her magic. Yesterday marked my 12th trip into the salon visiting Amy and in that time I have had half a head of highlights, ombré/balayage, ash brown full head, full head of highlights and most recently a full head of silver/grey blonde. Amy always goes out of her way to take time in every appointment to look at how my hair is coping and talk me through how I can look after my newest hair look while I am at home.
