Michael of Michael Ezra Art Studio was my savior! To start, he drove quite a distance to my home during high traffic hours, was prompt at my requested time and delightful as can be. There were 14 of my family for a group photo. Although Michael took a huge number of photos, some seemed to look better in different photos. To accommodate me, Michael moved different facades from different photos to one photo, which even included a desired arm on the shoulder of a man in the first row.The many other varied photos had original poses that pleased each of us, no easy feat. To think Ionly discovered Michael from an on-line description. I am hugely thankful for fabulous professional results and give Michael’s works the maximum 5 stars. THANK YOU Michael Ezra! More...

Michael worked onsite unwrapping, photographing and rewrapping 33 large art canvases that hadn't been opened since the 1970's. He was on time, diligent, super professional, and kept his cool when my toddler jumped on his lap top. The photos and sales documents he created exceeded my expectations. I can't recommend him highly enough...he is perfection. More...

I found Michael Ezra through Bark.com. I was looking for a commercial/product photographer to take photos for a series of artwork.
The artworks are framed under glass so the photographer will need to know specific setup of lighting and equipment to use to get rid of the reflections. It also require more time on post production in photoshop to ensure the color on paper is close to original.
After reviewing Michael's portfolio, he is the perfect photographer for this job. I had a tight deadline to submit the final production. Michael is flexible to accommodate my need and patience to coordinate logistic. I am happy with the final production and will like to continue working with Michael on the next project.

Michael has been our family photographer for over 10 years. He has amazing talent of connecting with people and capturing their feelings and emotions. It takes a very special person to see inside of you, far beyond the surface. This alone helps him find and capture genuine spirit of a person in front of his camera. True artisan, Michael handpaints his canvases and picks out only the finest props that are elegant but subtle. He has outstanding ability to connect with people and make them feel comfortable in front of the camera. Additionally he has a very special way of connecting with children. Michael created several outstanding portraits of us since our engagement through the birth of our three children. His portraits are immaculate, finished beautiful and perfectly framed. We receive compliments from everyone who visits our house. We are proud to own these very special family heirlooms that are truly timeless. More...

Michael photographed our wedding and later a family portrait. My husband and I couldn't have been happier with his work, and we have agreed that he will be the only photographer we ever use moving forward. He has captured so many beautiful moments of us (suspended in time) in such a pure and artistic way...always finding a way to illuminate that which makes each of us 'unique.' He understood our vision and worked diligently to capture it in all of the photographs. Rest assured, the moment you meet Michael, his calming presence and undeniable talent will put you at ease, no matter the occasion. Lastly, the photographs he has captured are ones that we can truly treasure for many years to come. More...

What makes a great website?
Take a look here: http://photovertex.com/web-design/
What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret to a great portrait is connection. This is the ultimate human element that gives portrait its life. Everything else can be retouched and edited, but connection is the key in the moment when photograph is recorded.
The photograph must be a finished product. It is not a snap. It is a pho-to-graph:) It is made to capture and convey feeling.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
For personal fine art portraiture projects, please indicate if you would prefer session in my studio or whether you have another specific location in mind.
Studio setting is weather-independent and allows full control for production of your session.
Sessions on location can add impact from scenery or interior decor.
For portraiture work I use hand-painted canvas backdrops and custom settings, specific to your project.
What do you love most about your job?
What I do makes my customers smile, cry, even be ecstatic:)
Every day, I feel that it makes me more human.
I just love it.. simply all of it!:)
What inspired you to start your own business?
Time flies fast and no one can stop it.
This is the reason I do fine art portraiture for commission.
Why should our clients choose you?
I’d like your portrait to transcend through time… to make it such a portrait that it would be true, elegant and beautiful in its essence, whenever it is looked at, regardless of fashions, trends and times.
