Q&As

Creativity process from conception to seeing finished article published

Long held ambition which allowed me to utilise communication skills acquired during corporate managerial career and in the voluntary sector.

I provide that "creative spark" which will enhance all your written communication needs whether online or in print, controversial or contemporary, the choice is yours.

Services

Proofreading / Editing

I am experienced in proofreading and copy editing documents of varying size and content ranging from promotional leaflets, to newsletters and detailed operational specifications.

I provide a high quality, cost effective service, which will ensure that your target audience receives and understands your central message first time, every time.

I have critiqued the content for a number of websites for Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) refreshing the wording and suggesting changes to the layout to enhance the service or product offering.

I have provided this service to a number of different organisations including recruitment agencies, career consultancies, creative agencies and virtual PA and Admin services.

I was also asked to work on the migration of a number of local websites to a new national website recently re-launched by The Motor Neurone Disease Association (www.mndassociation.org )

I have been writing blogs since the term was invented. In addition to my own blog http://blackcountrylondoner.wordpress.com I have written regular blog postings for the Staff Intranet site at The Motor Nuerone Disease Association on my activities as a volunteer for the organisation.

I have also written a number of blogs and articles for a political think tank group called 2020UK covering mainly social, educational and religious issues. As a campaigner for fair treatment for disabled people, the potential of a well-written, targeted blog to raise awareness issues, combined with use of social media such as twitter and facebook can never be underestimated.

I have written and edited a number of newsletters for both internal and external audiences over a number of years as well as providing written copy to local media and in-house publications both in UK and Ireland.

My credits include newsletters covering international courier operations, third sector organisations including Motor Neurone Disease Association, Black Country Neurological Alliance and Mid-Counties Cooperative Part.

Experienced in crafting and delivering content on behalf of both self and for others as the occasion demands.

Whether it is a speech, presentation, series of short articles or complete work including any research, I will ensure the finished product surpasses all expectations.
