The wait is over ! After soooooo long of driving by this place every single day, I budged. An old buddy came to town and we wanted Mexican and we didn't want to drive far. So after the 1 block or so drive the moment had come. The inside was a bit smooshed together so we decided to take it to go and watch uncountable hours of married with children reruns. The special for today (Monday) was a beef or ham torta. In my 33 years on this planet , I have never ever. Ever. Even considered ordering a sandwich at a Mexican joint. Cmon that's like getting a hot dog at a Chinese place . Anyways. The time had come. For 5 dollars I did it. I finally overcame my fears of Mexican sandwiches and got the beef one. I also got a small cheese quesadilla just incase this went horribly wrong. And it most certainly did NOT! This this was delicious. I don't know how else to describe it. So creamy and crispy and mmmmmm. Would totally get one again. I would get the steak one next time cause that is my meat of preference but it wasn't on the special. My wife ended up eating the cheese quesadilla and my buddy loved his chicken quesadilla. They were huge and come with a lot of rice and beans. Good job mi casa!!! I'm going to walk to you next ! The best authentic Mexican food in the Bourbonnais, K3, Bradley area! We had Mi Casa cater our clinic's office Christmas Dinner Party and no one was disappointed. Everyone really enjoy the dinner. We had the three entree option with beans, rice, tortillas, horchata and flan for dessert. It was the best catered dinner party we have hosted. Everything tastes great! I had the pick 3 combo with an al pastor taco, a gordita with chicken and a sope with steak, which included rice and beans for only $7.25! I could eat here everyday!
