Bought my wedding dress from here and from walking in the shop the whole team (particularly Emma) were absolutely incredible. We never once felt rushed or pressured when trying on dresses. They seemed to take a genuine interest in all aspects of the wedding and would ask about certain points I'd mentioned in between visits which was a lovely extra touch. Mia Sposa were brilliant from start to finish and a world away from some of the other boutiques we visited. Every member of staff was so welcoming and put me at ease immediately - they made the process fun! ! They were knowledgeable about styles, shapes and accessories and stocked a lot more variety than I had seen elsewhere. It also helps that the store itself is beautiful! Amazing place. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a wedding dress. From the moment I walked in Carole put me at ease and I just knew this was where I was going to get my dress from. They have so many styles to choose from and are so patient with you.... believe me I had poor Carole up and down for so many different dresses to try on. The team at Mia Sposa are the best there is. From the moment I walked in over a year ago(!), they were so calming and helpful. Even when I found my dress, they insisted on making sure I was sure, and had me try on similar styles and fabrics - when I walked out, I knew I had made the right choice. Emma, in particular, was an absolute star the whole way though this journey. When it came to the fittings 11 months later, it was a dream to put my dress back on and even though it took a few tweaks afterwards, everyone was so accommodating and focussed on making sure I was 100% happy with my look on the day. This shop is head and shoulders above other weddings dress shops, I’ve visited four in total; two locally and two in Harrogate and I can’t stress how amazing the atmosphere of this boutique is, such a personal service with a unique personality! I was told about Mia Sposa by a few friends who all found their dresses here. The staff were very professional and efficient. Claire was really helpful and listened to what I wanted - I didn't feel pressured at any point during my visit which is something I had experienced at other bridal boutiques. Everyone was really helpful and I was able to arrange to come in later the same day after my first appointment so my Dad could see it as well. The dress itself was stunning and as someone who is pretty body conscious it was great to try on dresses that actually fitted. I'd been to other places where I had been made to just hold up the dress against me without actually putting it on, only wearing my underwear and it was really humiliating. I was recommended to go here from another bride and she was not wrong. I was made to feel comfortable from the minute I walked in the shop and despite having major body issues the girls reassured me and made my experience a really enjoyable one. Gorgeous store with really lovely staff who go that little bit extra to make you feel special and valued.
