You will never meet a nicer, more talented, or more accommodating stylist than Ann Eberly! She did my hair and makeup for my wedding, and it turned out just like I'd hoped! I really enjoyed my experience at the salon yesterday. I live out of state but visit ohio frequently and I needed a haircut badly. My friend Kala who works at the salon suggested Priscilla and even helped to book the appointment. I expected just a haircut but received so much more. She pampered me with a hand and arm massage and really had me relaxed. She really asked a lot of questions to get to know what I really wanted for my hair. I needed a change badly, my hair hadn’t been colored or cut in over a year so I booked with Priscilla I’ve known her for years and she does amazing work, needless to say I wasn’t disappointed when I told her what Look I was going for she executed my vision perfectly. The salon has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed the minute you step through the door. When all was said and done I left looking and feeling like a whole new person, the front desk even gave me a goody bag full of samples, not sure if that was promotional because it was my first time there but regardless it was a nice little touch at the end of a fantastic experience. I just wanted to stop by and leave a review. I haven’t been to salon since I cut my hair last year. I just graduated nursing school this week and I thought I would treat myself to a mani, pedi, and a hair cut. OMG! I will always come back. I felt so bad because I got a design on my nails that took a while to do but Katie was so patient and kind. I got the design of Like a heart beat on my nails and she told me she loved doing it because it was different. Then after 3 hours of doing my feet and toes, she did my hair! OMG! She is the best!!! I found Mi Amore on Groupon and don't have a negative thing to say about it. I went in for a haircut and conditioning treatment. Admittedly, my hair is very damaged due to bleaching it and toning it blonde for the past 6 months (I'm naturally a dark brunette.)

I opted to chop it shorter to shoulder length and begin the process of getting it healthy again. My stylist, Katie H. was amazing! She recommended a repair treatment for me for an additional $20 and I opted for this, given the state of my hair. She applied the treatment not once, but twice, ensuring that my hair was in a better state before I left the salon. She also helped me to lighten up my freshly dyed warm brassy roots with a 3 vol developer and purple shampoo, free of charge. She really bent over backwards and spent a lot of time with me to help me get my hair a little healthier.

All the while, she was kind and understanding, telling me her own stories of when she's dyed her hair to the point it was damaged, etc. before going to beauty school. The lack of judgement and really understanding attitude was what really won me over. I always feel a little uncomfortable and out of place at salons, so I was particularly anxious with the poor state of my hair, but Mi Amore and Katie H were the perfect choices to help me.

I've been salon-hopping since I moved to the area 3 years ago, feeling out of place in every other salon I've been at, but I'm happy to say that I have a second appointment booked at Mi Amore and envision plenty more in the foreseeable future! More...

Not only is this the cutest salon with the best staff, but the prices are great and the service is amazing too! To top it off the place smells heavenly thanks to the bakery next door! I got a poly gel nail fill and Anne did a great job! Being my first time I always worry a bit if it will be awkward to sit there for a longer time and chat with a nail tech that i don't know, but it wasn't!
