Fantastic. I have just had some roofing work done by Martin of MGK Plastics and I am really pleased with the results. I had ridge tiles replaced and a full repointing plus some lower roof lead flashing repair. Martin was the first to respond from rated traders and from the outset he was was very professional in arranging to do the work avoiding the frost and rain. He had also presented me with a number of options for the ridge tile system. He was good at explaining these and respected my decision on which to go for. The work on the ridge tiles and lead flashing was carried out without fuss and they left no mess. Martin took some photographs before and after and sent these to my phone to illustrate the work done. I would highly recommend Martin and his team at MGK Plastics. Martin was quick to come and quote for the removal of a soil vent stack and repair the roof, fitted he job in quickly and was exceptional at communicating. We had a problem with leakage from a section of our roof and, having had an awful job done by a contractor selected by our Insurance Company, I turned to Martin, who we've used before, to get the job done properly. Once again Martin was superb. He met us very quickly to review the job, we agreed a price and the next day he started the job. During the work, he discovered other problems with broken tiles and felting which needed replacing and sorted those out too with no additional cost. I would have no worries about recommending. Had a leak, received a quote the day after my enquiry, the work was carried out a few days later before the heavy rain started again. No leak since. The work was carried out quickly, efficiently within the time specified and within budget. What can I say? Wow! Great service from Martin and the team! From initial contact through to job completion and after care - the whole process was quick, efficient and the job done to a great standard. The team were brilliant, really courteous and nothing was too much trouble. I had a complete roofline replacement after storm damage to already badly worn soffits and fascias - especially on my house gable ends. By chance I’d had a flyer through the door and thought I’d give MGK Plastics a call to see what their quote would be like. Martin came out that evening and viewed the job, talked knowledgeably through the products he uses and the process required to remove the existing roofline products and replace with new. He listened to my needs and gave me sound advice on what was needed and quoted accordingly. He even pointed me to a job he’d recently done in the next street so I could check out his work. I also checked his ratings on google and rated people.We agreed a price and Martin arranged the work to start the next week. As I was away on business when the work started, Martin sent me pictures and texts to keep me apprised of the job. This was great as I could see the work progressing.The lads were brilliant and kept the site clean at the end of each day and then at the end of the job. Whilst the scaffold was up, I asked the lads to remove my old Sky dish and some old cctv cameras and they did this without hesitation - even filling the holes afterwards. The team worked through some really bad weather and heavy rain during the job but kept going until the job was complete.I’d recommend MGK to anyone. Martin and the team at MGK Plastics are brilliant. I needed replacement roofline products - soffits, fascias and gutters, plus some repointing and some exterior spotlights fitted. The guys worked really well, especially considering the bad weather they had to work in! I was away on business for some of the work, but Martin kept in touch throughout and sent me pictures of the work as it was carried out. Great team, polite, hard grafters and kept the work site clean at the end of each day. I heard about MGK from a flyer through my front door and I don’t normally take much notice of these. However, I needed work done quickly following storm damage. Martin was out to see me the evening I called. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Martin and his team, first class from start to finish.Cleaned all existing white UPVC, fitted new gutters and downspouts and refitted a loose ridge tile. Mgk plastics was canvassing in the area I was hesitant at first as we are warned to be careful of door to door canvassers but after seeing them do 6 jobs down our avenue we decided to go ahead with it .
