Never tried Mexico City Cuisine before.. this was to cater an event for Ride Above Disability Therapeutic Riding Center- a barn dance and then a large tent with tables for food. So, they set up between the tent and barn, along side a trailer. The weather had taken a turn, going from typical San Diego gorgeous to chilly and threatening rain.. it rained earlier in the afternoon and drizzled off and on during the event. So, they are set up outside, in the cold and rain, and they were all smiles, with steaming hot food that just kept coming.. The food was excellent and I heard so many people remark about how good it was- down to the smallest details such as the rice getting A LOT of compliments. Rice? Yes, everything from the chips to the rice to the beans, meat, tortillas, etc.. it was all hot and flavorful. They had the food ready to go as attendees were just starting to trickle in, so they pulled back and delayed service at bit, at our request, and the quality did not suffer- because they are clearly professionals and truly know how to juggle venue, weather, and the whims of attendance which can fluctuate right along with the weather at any given time. I appreciated the hot, flavorful food but I also really appreciated how upbeat the servers were and they seems to enjoy their jobs and putting out a quality spread. So appreciative- thank you!! We recently used MCC for my wife's birthday and I was nervous because I've never heard of them. Let me tell you, the food was phenomenal. I love Mexican food and have eaten at 100's of different Mexican restaurants, hands down, MCC's meats are the best I've ever had. I'm literally craving the chicken pollo and the pork pastor, just delicious. Everything was awesome, the rice and beans all the sides, super fresh and flavorful. MCC was amazing!!!! So many people came up to me after the wedding to tell me how good the food was. They were at our venue early the day of to set up and were super professional. Leo and his team were great. They brought a ton of staff to help set up and to help up with little tasks. They were very accommodating and were able to do tasks that we requested the day of like bring out the cake at a certain time or pour champagne. There food was not only good but their setup was beautiful. Eva was super helpful before the wedding and answered all my emails and special requests. They are super flexible and we were able to make last minute changes the day of. They have my highest recommendation! They made our day go by so smooth!! More...

Amazing! My daughter lives out of state but was getting married here so we were organizing long distance. Mexico City Cuisine said "Don't worry. ..we will take care of it" and were always easy to communicate with so we felt very confident in them and they totally stood by their word. They catered a rehearsal dinner on Friday night for about 50 people at a private residence, then 120 at a venue the next day for the wedding. They were professional and efficient (almost invisible) with setup and cleanup. The prices were very reasonable especially considering the food and the service we received. We had the barbeque on Friday and Mexican for the wedding...lots of CA people that have moved away and craved good Mexican food...everyone raved about both meals. Highly recommend.
