Q&As

We have all learnt everything we know; from walking and eating, to reading and solving problems. From the moment we are born, we learn and we are taught. Some of the most significant influences in our lives are our teachers and the most significant profession in the world is teaching.
Here at Metro Educators, we take the institution of teaching very seriously and with great passion. That is why we hire highly qualified subject specialists who bring their considerable knowledge and unique teaching styles.
Students are exposed to new information daily; be it in school or their private time. It can at times be very overwhelming and difficult to understand new concepts and some students can struggle. Our goal is to provide students with a specialised learning plan to help them excel in their academia.

We must do all we can to prepare our children to be well equipped to succeed in their future, whatever their future may bring them. After all, the future is in their hands.
Therefore, we decided to open an institute that would provide pupils with the help, learning and motivation they need. We created a business model that is designed to give each individual student a specialised service that focuses on their weak areas.
We usually find that the weak areas are a result of misunderstanding key concepts. If a student can’t grasp a certain aspect of any particular subject in school, this can affect their understanding of the subject as a whole. It is highly unlikely that the student will be taught the same concept again. For example, a student may have missed a maths class or simply may not fully understand the concept of long division. It is unlikely that long division will be taught to students again in the subsequent school year. We can provide students with all they help they need in understanding the areas they struggle with. This helps the student to gain confidence in their academic progress.
This can even give the student the opportunity to surpass their current school year and challenge themselves by moving onto the level of work. By working ahead and planning ahead, we give students ample time to reach and exceed in their academia.
By giving students an academic advantage we can encourage and give them confidence to continue their success into their future ventures.

We always aim to provide the best service possible. This starts with hiring professional, highly educated tutors. All staff are thoroughly DBS checked; maintaining a safe learning environment is of utmost importance. We keep students motivated by making the process as fun as comprehensible as possible. However, we try to ensure that all students are challenged to a degree. We have designed a syllabus that provides all students with workbooks that fit their abilities. Whenever we feel as though workbooks are not appropriate to their level, they are immediately provided with a better suited alternative. We don’t not apply a ‘one-size fits all’ approach here. This allows students to gain confidence in their weaker areas whilst strengthening their overall abilities.
We provide one to one tuition alongside group tuition. What differentiates us from other tuition services is that our group tuition classes never exceed four students; the tutor can still engage with each student sufficiently.
We always keep parents on board. There are always written notes regarding what has been covered in lessons and what (if any) homework has been set. Parents are also welcome to attend fortnightly meetings to discuss the progress of the student.
We are always open to feedback! Any comments or suggestions are very much appreciated. This is one of the best ways to engage with parents and allow them to contribute to our success.
