Great server who offered a variety of wine suggestions when our preferred option was not available. Server was patient, informative and professional but the only one on for the whole restaurant! She did a great job, but perhaps a second server would be helpful to assist. Loved the ambiance! We tried the beet salad and it was robust with flavor. Also tried to entrees (a butternut squash ravioli and a ricotta type dish with lamb, believe). I will return to share experience with more friends (this was my first time, my friend who joined me had been there previously). More...
Great place for a date night. Quiet, cozy atmosphere. Food is outstanding, and the service is impeccable! Our server, Ashley, was definitely on top of her game! Took very good care of us. Would definitely return. More...
Friendly professional staff. Excellent experience. Fabulous food
We had a great time here! We are from out of town and the pasta was delicious. The wine selection was wonderful & the staff was very welcoming. Loved the bread too!The only thing was they appeared understaffed as the host was also the waiter to every table in the restaurant, the bartender and the bus person. He was a one man show! We felt bad so we didn’t want to ask him to do one more thing but he was super nice and as attentive as he could be given his many roles!Great restaurant! Would definitely go back if we are in town again, More...
The food and service were excellent. It’s a nice hole in the wall to speak and we enjoyed the take the chef had on traditional dishes. Also, it was extremely inexpensive (under a 100) when getting an appetizer, a main dish, and four glasses of wine. Even if we got a dessert to share, it still would have been under 100. More...
Outstanding food, service was impeccable, everyone was extremely friendly, helpful! I recommend this restaurant to everyone!
The bearded greeter was dressed like he was going to clean the garage with a sports hat on. He should have had on a dress shirt with a tie and no hat. This was inappropriate for the initial experience of entering one of Milwaukee's finest restaurants. The little blond waitress was awesome as was the food, the chairs, drinks and quiet recorded jazz being played. We will be back again. Loved it. Thank you for a fine experience. More...

Outstanding Italian food, great service, close to Shank Hall for live music entertainment
Pasta tree has a fabulous menu. We hadn't been there in more than 5 years. I noticed the decor needs an update. The vintage chairs at the tables are starting to be old and rickety. The chair I had was actually wobbly. Areas of the wall were in serious need of new painting (there was a painted pipe that was literally peeling paint). The food is always great, but the restaurant needs a complete refresh in terms of decor. We will still go back, but offering gentle suggestion to improve this restaurant. More...
The service was prompt and friendly. The food was very good and the tiramisu was great.

great service fresh food
1st time going, i took my girlfriend for her 40th b day, everything was amazing, the service, the food was beyong good, good portion, the weitres take care us good, defenely i be coming back thank you.
Cozy atmosphere,awesome food, great waitstaff!
Waitress was fantastic on 8/23/19. She was the only server for the night and was upbeat and friendly. She was not overwhelmed by the workload
WHERE THE HECK IS BOB Not the same place without him.
Great pasta options. Delicious!! For those who prefer meat with the pasta, the options are minimal. So if you're looking for meat with pasta on the side, such as veal parmesan, you'll need to dine elsewhere.
Went to The Pasta Tree to celebrate my birthday with friends and the server was very helpful, accommodating and friendly. She was very knowledgeable in the special menu and that day's offerings as well as pairings for cocktails with our dishes. Will definitely go back soon.
Great food. A lot of flavor. Nice quite atmosphere. Great service.
We felt welcomed from the moment we walked in. The food was incredible. We both had one of the specials. I had butternut squash ravioli in brown butter sage sauce and my boyfriend had the scallop special. My boyfriend and I agreed that the butternut squash ravioli was INCREDIBLE. Then we had tiramisu for dessert which they confirmed was home made. It was also INCREDIBLE. More...
The stuffed squash flowers which were perfectly done, tender and moist inside and crispy outside. The sauce was flavorful, but did not override the squash flowers. The shrimp linguine was done perfectly, as well, with a lovely garlicky flavor and plenty of parmesan on top. Service was attentive and friendly. The beer list, sadly, is mostly low end lighter beers. A selection of local craft beers would be very welcome and appreciated. More...
Such a cute little place we discovered from using a Groupon! My husband and I have been here several times for our anniversary and will be coming back for years to come! We drive more than 50 miles to get here, but well worth it! More...
I’ve always loved the Pasta Tree’s food! And the tirimasu (spg) is the best I’ve ever had!Been dining at PT for 20 years!
Bread was excellent, entrees and salad with pear and beets were all .very good; not sure why you don't put salt and pepper on table instead of having to wait for waitress to come back and ask for it. a bit pricey for entrees but not too bad when you purchase a groupon More...
Service was too slow...understaffed?Patron was on her phone and LOUD.
Food was good but over priced. No air conditioning on a 90 degree day made it very uncomfortable and impossible to enjoy the meal.
Very nice and good food. Service by wait staff was excellent.
We had a very nice dinner. We ate in the 'secret garden'. The tag team servers were very attentive and the food was good as well. My husband would have a preferred a larger portion of his mahi mahi, he ended up eating 1/2 of my carbonara. The tables and chairs in the garden are made for small, short people, so by the time he tried to stand up, his knees were a little stiff. The young couple next to us had the same issue. Overall, it was a good dinner, but the seating left a lot to be desired. More...
Excellent food in a romantic setting. If the weather is nice, definitely sit outside under the lights! One of our favorite spots in Milwaukee.
We love going to Pasta Tree! The service is fantastic, food is great, always fun specials to try!
The evening that we were there they were very slow but both the food and service were excellent. As advertised, the menu is built around pasta dishes which they do very well and with some creativity. Cute atmosphere, warm and cozy.
Such a great local Italian restaurant. Off the Brady Street path but so well worth it for the classic, quiet experience.
We have been here plenty of times and the food and service are always the same. Awesome food and awesome service.
Had a great meal at the Pasta Tree. Food was excellent. Had the Gorgonzola Alfredo, which was great. Service was very good, but I was surprised how quiet the restaurant was. It was a holiday weekend with Summerfest going on, and it was a little later, but we were almost alone. Still I would highly recommend The Pasta Tree. More...
Staff attentive and helpful to each other. The best chicken Alfredo we ever ordered at any restaurant. Enjoyed the peach, pecan and beet salad.
New favorite-Gorgonzola cream sauce. Excellent service and great food.
I can’t thank them enough for the wonderful experience I had on my date night! Well played guys keep up the outstanding service and presentation!
I've been meaning to try this restaurant for months. I fell in love with the approachable atmosphere and excellent waitstaff. The food was incredible, and it alone would be worthy of a good review, but the whole place is just warm and inviting. I might have spent a little more than I had expected to, but I needed to try to the desert menu and a second cocktail was certainly in order. More...
The food was delicious. I look forward to going back!
We had a table in front by the window. It was cozy. Our food was good and the salads were large. My husband said his scallops were some of the best he's had. Salads were not included, and we only got four small slices of bread. The pasta tasted homemade. Service was a little slow and prices were steep for a la carte. More...
Food and service was outstanding. Great atmosphere in the back room. Thank you to the wonderful staff there.
Servers were friendly and prompt, food was delicious, especially the butternut squash ravioli special. Hope it gets added to regular menu soon.
The pasta tree is one of my favorite places. The food was wonderful, unfortunately they only had 2 servers on a Saturday night.
Great friendly service from the time we walked in the door. I ordered a Ribey steak and the portion size was very generous.
The atmosphere is beautiful and the food is delicious
The food and service were amazing!! Everyone loved their food and the restaurant is adorable!
Food was awesome, as always. And service was terrific in a perfect atmosphere.
When we arrived for our reservation, there was a wait and it appeared that there was some difficulty with getting our party of 4 seated (though many tables were not filled). When we were seated at the window, we noted that the chairs are somewhat worn and 2 were covered with bread crumbs. One of us noted a loud buzzing noise from the wine refrigerator. At first, we were told nothing could be done about this. We actually were considering leaving the restaurant at that point. The manager then came over and turned off the refrig. One dish was not at all tasty (as in no taste) and the manager did get a new dish to replace it. The front door does not close well and we had to get up twice during dinner to close the door as the wind was blowing cool air in. More...
Excellent food with great service. We will definitely return!
We were one of the first ones there and wasn't given a window seat. After finishing Dinner we were not ask if we wanted dessert. But the food was well flavored and tasty. More...
The only thing that I did not like was the seating.
Outstanding food, amazing venue, great service. Would recommend to anyone who loves a good pasta.
Great food Great service Would definitely go again and have already told others!
Great place, cozy, romantic. Great food and service. It makes you have conversations and put the phones down. Greet your neighbors because they are close and enjoy a nice dinner in a small none chain restaurant.
Cute restaurant! Wonderful, authentic Italian cuisine at a great price. Service was a little slow, felt like our server could’ve been a little more attentive. But otherwise great and would definitely come back More...
Great food. Specials were outstanding. Service was excellent.
Food was very good. Seating is not very comfortable. Tables are crunched together and the hard back chairs are very uncomfortable. Staff was a bit rattled ... telling us the bread loaf was to come out of the oven when it was actually being unthawed. Used a Mark Belling Gift Certificate and that irritated the person in charge and we thought that was very unprofessional, as the bill was quickly grabbed from out table, to return when our dinner was finished with the Belling Certificate properly accounted for. Will we be back, probably not even though the food is very good. Too much other stuff to overcome to make us want to return when there are plenty of good restaurants available. More...
My husband and I had dinner there for my birthday. I had been there many, many times in the past, but not for many years. We were surprised, especially considering that it is now referred to as a 'restaurant and wine bar', that there are so few white wine choices for a menu that is mostly fish, seafood, and light sauces - and then the first two wines we chose were not available. The waitress let us know that apparently the wine menu is old and out-of-date. We finally made a THIRD choice, but it was very disappointing. We both had specials, I had lobster ravioli and he had lamb; I think we would both rate our meals as about a 3/5. As far as ambiance, that is one of the reasons we chose the Pasta Tree, and did have the nice, quiet, intimate table we were hoping for. Our hostess and waitress were also very good, very attentive, giving us just the right amount of attention. I would recommend the Pasta Tree to friends, with the caveat that it's not a great place for good wine, and I would suggest that they order dishes that are always on the menu, as opposed to specials. Wonderful restaurant. High quality food, great quaint ambiance, and attentive service that was not overbearing. Not pretentious. Great place for a romantic dinner. Also, high quality cocktails with generous pours. More...
Great food and service. Will be back!
great dinner for our date night. we went before our movie and our dinners were excellent.
The food was absolutely wonderful. Service was pretty good as well. The only drawback is an old or musty smell, not bad enough to prevent me from going back. The food is the big draw for me.
The Pasta Tree is wonderful, but they were short staffed on this visit.
I love the pasta tree. The food and service is always exceptional. Unfortunately there was a very noisy wine cooler right next to our table that took away from the dining experience.
My husband and I really enjoyed our food and our server was professional. It was an enjoyable evening. The only thing is that you should be prepared to sit close to other people, quite cozy.

Have not had a chance to try their food yet. I went for a tarot and henna reading event. Emily is awesome mediumship/tarot.
Amazing food and drink. Wonderful service
Came here before seeing Phantom on Sunday. We will be back! We loved it! Everyone was very friendly too.
Wonderful atmosphere, friendly service and outstanding food...will definitely be back soon!
We had a wonderful table by the window. The only thing that was lacking was the Gorgonzola cream as it did not have much spice at all. Otherwise this is an old favorite.
I’ve been coming to the Pasta Tree for years. Service was great. Food was amazing. We were greeted by Oysters Suzette. I don’t normally eat sea food, but loved the oysters. My pesto linguini was amazing. I practically licked the bowl clean. You really can’t beat the ambiance of the Pasta Tree & the food is always great$ More...
I’ve seriously never had oysters before tonight, but absolutely loved the Oysters Suzette. I had the Roasted Red Pepper Soup, which was delicious. One of my all time favorites, the Chicken Pesto Linguini was excellent as always. This has been one of my favorite restaurants for years. The Pasta Tree does not disappoint! More...
Another great meal!! We have been coming to Pasra Tree for over 20 years and still love it!
Once again the Food was EXCELLENT!!! but we missed the Waiter: Bobby, who no longer works at The Pasta Tree, he was always enjoyable to have, he made coming to The Pasta Tree even more better.
The service was excellent and food is very good. The chairs are a little rickety and could use an upgrade.
The Pasta Tree was a great experience. It is a small, quaint, romantic Italian restaurant. My wife and I both agreed that it may be the best Italian food we have ever had. The service was good with a great selection of wine and beer. The atmosphere is quiet, romantic, and cute. Highly recommend! More...
Delicious food and wine, atmosphere is fine (a little dated), but overall a great, cozy spot on the East Side.
Noise was louder on this night as there was a group party going on while we were there. All food and wine was exceptional. Small place with intimate setting. Parking during winter particularly bad due to snow piles! More...

Food, as always was good. First round of cocktails were big time "short pours". Second round much healthier. Had two birthday diners this night. Waitress brought two desserts, which we were charged for $12 a piece! WTF More...
Wonderful atmosphere! Great place for a date night! A little hole in the wall that’s perfect for couples! Great food and wonderful service!
This was my first time here from Groupon. I enjoyed the ambiance and the hospitality not to mention the food was excellent. Will definitely be back!
Great food and wine. Wonderful environment
I love this place- great food and great service!!
Really enjoy the intimate setting. Very New York Italian restaurant ambiance - unique for the Milwaukee area. Food was excellent and prepared as requested. Quite busy on a very cold winter night yet we had great service with Robert. I had the egg pasta with clams and my guest had manicotti in a vodka sauce. Price points were moderate. We will be back soon. More...

Amazing. Everything they’re made from scratch to include the pasta and bread and Tiramisu for dessert. Even the coffee was wonderful. I would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat More...
Everything was great
Delicious food and wonderful ambience. Service was good.
Excellent food as always, great service. Always great choices!
The service is OUTSTANDING!!! Bobby is the best, he has such a great personality, we also request to sit in his area. And once again, the food was excellent!!!
Love this place for the best pastas. Consistently great food.
The only criticism was sinking into the large shared sofa tightly placed right next to another small table. My partner sat on a chair perpendicular to the sofa and higher than my seat. It also meant that I was too low to enjoy the dining. More...
I haven't been back to the pasta tree in approx. 10 years, since we had a bad experience (with service) and had to wait a really long time for our food. Gave it another try and the service was very good, the food came out super fast and was excellent (prepared by the owner!)! The only negative was that it seemed they wanted to turn the table over quickly, we must have been there less than 45 minutes when we were feeling pressured--it was really early on New Years Eve. But I would definitely go back again! More...
The food was absolutely delicious. I plan om coming back here again. I woukd highly recommend this place for a nice romantic dinner with that special someone.
We made our reservation at the Pasta Tree to celebrate New Year's Eve. We do not live in Wisconsin and it has been several years since we last dined at this restaurant. Everyone in our party of three felt the food they ordered was very good, and we were pleased with our attentive server. Our meal was nicely paced and we did not feel rushed. I will recommend this restaurant to friends and look forward to dining at the Pasta Tree again during a future visit to Milwaukee. More...
All the pasta is made to order, the staff is very friendly, and the ingrediants are bought fresh and local.
The Pasta Tree offers really great food in a unique, cozy atmosphere. With regard to the food, there isn't a single thing on the menu that isn't delicious. The atmosphere probably isn't for everyone but I really enjoy it -- just be prepared to sit very, very close to your fellow diners. The service does tend to be slow but pleasant. And, who doesn't need a reminder to slow down and savor both food and time with family and friends? I most recently went to the Pasta Tree on December 30. My Shrimp Broccoli Cream (with egg pasta) was perfect and my husband was very pleased with his Pesto Chicken Linguine (with wheat pasta). He was impressed with the beer he selected and I enjoyed my glass of wine. And, as it was our anniversary, we split a slice of "chocolate nemesis" -- a deep, fudgy flourless chocolate cake which was well worth the calories. More...
I used to be a regular at the Pasta Tree but after moving out of town, had been not been there in quite a few years. That changed when my husband and I visited the restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary.Despite the ownership change, the menu was familiar -- which made me happy. The food was delicious. I had shrimp broccoli cream with egg pasta and my husband had chicken pesto linguine with wheat pasta. He was happy with the beer list and I enjoyed the glass of wine I chose. As it was a special occasion, we ordered "chocolate nemesis" -- a dense, fudgy torte that was well worth the calories. The tables are very close to each other. When the restaurant says cozy, it means COZY. This might not be for everyone but I enjoy it. The service was languid but pleasant. And who can't benefit from the reminder to s-l-o-w down and savor one's food and companion(s)?Really, it was a perfect anniversary dinner. More...
The food was a little off. I like a thick creamy sauce and usually go for the carbonara which the prior two times I had been in was outstanding and probably some of the best carbonara I have ever had. For this visit the sauce the sauce was not as thick and it was lacking the garlic flavor that makes it pop. My wife usually gets the manicotti which normally has really great flavor and this time just did not as good either. We love the Pasta Tree and have been going there for 30 years. We will be back, just wanted to let you know our experience was not consistent with past dinners. More...
I love the pasta tree. Our waiter the last couple times has been the same guy who is really terrible, we have to wait a long time for drinks and service which is unfortunate. The food is amazing, best pasta in Milwaukee. More...
The food was delicious. I tried the smoked salmon with spinach pasta. Our server Robert was a pro. The seating was cramped. I had a chair at our table but my date sat on a wall bench. Not conducive for eating More...

We have been going to the Pasta Tree since it opened as a deli many years ago. We always loved the menu and wine choices. It has remained the same under the "new" ownership. Our waiter, Robert, was excellent and the food did not disappoint on this visit. More...
We loved all our our dishes. Really good traditional entrees. Great wine selection. I had a "pre-prohibition" old fashioned and it was amazing! The tiramisu and sweet potato cheesecake were both good. We weren't as happy with the Calamari, mainly because it served "steak" style. Which was explained to us before we ordered it. Nice job. We will be back again. More...
Can always count on the staff and kitchen for a perfect evening. Our guests are now raving about Pasta Tree. All four dinners were excellent and the appetizers perfect. It’s a drive for us but certainly worth it. Nicely done, again! More...
Robert was the perfect host and wonderful server always making sure we had everything we wanted. He made our evening so memorable and we look forward to going back when we are in town again and seeing Robert!
I have been a customer for 20+ years and have yet to have a bad meal. The best tomato meat sauce in the area. The service has improved each visit. The current hostess did a phenomenal job of keeping us informed as we waited for our table. The personal attention was appreciated. I can hardly wait to return. I’m not living in the Milwaukee area anymore so I look forward to the opportunity to dine at the Pasta Tree. More...
We wasn’t greeted when we first walked in, however the second time we were
Great service and excellent traditional Italian cuisine. Highly recommend their cannelloni or the scallops in artichoke cream sauce.
Food was delicious, atmosphere comfortable, service B+.
Fine, food and service was great
Heard an add on the radio and hadn’t been to Pasta Tree for awhile so four of us decided to go. We all loved our food, the service was very good and my butternut squash ravioli was the best I’ve had anywhere!!
Food and ambiance excellent. Server a bit rushed and not very friendly, however the other table had a server that was energetic and having a good time with his table.
Nice wine bar and Italian restaurant, quiet relaxing and good food
Enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving-eve dinner with my family. Loved the Francese sauce. Thoroughly enjoyed.
My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner. I especially loved the gluten free cheese ravioli. Wow! Great dinner and service.
We had a good dinner. Have only two concerns - they needed an additional server and the entrees were overly heavy on garlic. Otherwise we had a very pleasant experience. More...

Robert was awesome. The food was great as usual!
Great Overall !! Been visiting The Pasta Tree for 24 years. Always excellent!!
The food is outstanding. You can totally tell that the pasta is made fresh. Really great gluten free pasta as well. Unfortunately the service is not great. The hostess in the front ALWAYS seems overwhelmed and reservations mean nothing as you still end up waiting for quite some time in a very small entry way. Saturday nights are always busy and it seems like they’re always surprised by this fact... but once you sit down service is adequate and the food is definitely worth the hassle. More...
Pasta Treenever disappoints. An amazing selection of seasonal dishes that create a flavor burst on your tastebuds. Excellent wine menu and quick, friendly service. A gem in Milwaukee.
Parking is very difficult and I wish someone would have recommended Uber.
We had a mother and daughter special dinner as this was the place we had her college graduation celebration the year prior. We had such an amazing time and we were seated at the beautiful table in the window. It just made our visit together so incredibly special. Service was amazing, and the food is always excellent. At our table of 4; 3 people were very happy. The meat sauce was way too salty. Overall a good meal a but too pricey.
Pasta Tree offers perfect dining experience. Wonderful atmosphere. Great food selection. Outstanding service.
Great service. Food is always good. We only go for special occasions because it can be expensive for pasta but it is made fresh.
Alicia N. Faqihi
overall amazing experience
Food was great. Service was a bit slow. Appeared that they seated many parties all at the same time. May have lead to the longer service.
Great night out. Got away from the kids for a night! Bob was great.
Great food and wine! Carbonara is to die for! Great for date night. I will always be a return customer.
Very good intimate setting, nice atmosphere
Phenomenal service, food is original and authentic. Very attentive staff. Reasonably priced
Cozy. Love the atmosphere. Excellent food.
All of our entrees were delicious, even though service was a bit slower than normal, but still efficient. A random Thursday night turned out to be super busy for the restaurant, that only seemed to have one waiter, no bartender and a bus boy, for some reason. Robert did a terrific job of somehow seeing that everyone was greeted and served in a reasonable amount of time, plus was able to check back for drink refills, and to see if everyone was enjoying their meals. Would recommend, usually quieter than most places so you can actually talk to your friends, without shouting. More...
We go to Pasta Tree a few times a year and the food and service never disappoints.
Fantastic food....great ambiance and nice atmosphere. Would be nice if they had more staff as we didn't have a bartender as we sat at the bar.
Robert, our server was outstanding. Knew about the menu and could explain the dishes on offer and very friendly.
Delicious Italian food. Great menu. Cozy atmosphere. Our server was wonderful!!
Love this place. Never been disappointed with the food or the service. Very friendly and accommodating. It's our go to spot for a romantic dinner or special occasion.

I would have given 5 stars, but the wait is terribly LONG!! Was almost two and a half hours until we got our meal. Even the appetizer took 45 minutes. Food is EXCELLENT....service and food extremely slow. We weren't in a rush, but one waitress for the entire restaurant....wow.....sounds like poor staffing. How many on in the kitchen if food took this long?I can see why there were a lot of TO GO's.Again, meal/pasta was outstanding! We would never go back again because the wait for the main dishes was soooo long!I felt bad for the waitress being alone, but she said she liked working alone! She was doing everything.... answering the phone, taking reservations, bartending, serving food, bussing tables, seating patrons, setting up tables, etc. She was doing it ALL. She was the ONLY ONE in the restaurant. We don't know how many kitchen staff were working.Kitchen needs to speed it up....over a two hour wait for main course is crazy. If the restaurant wants to be slow ..... Then the restaurant needs to warn patrons of the extreme wait. BTW: restaurant had lots of empty tables....so wasn't too busy it seems. We were going to order dessert, but didn't want to risk another 2 hour wait.Again, I must say pasta was EXCELLENT!!! More...

Excellent food and pretty good service. No complaints at all. My boyfriend and i both had the tortellini which was great and they have a great selection of wine. We will be back!
The food is outstanding!! Fresh pasta and incredible sauces. Absolutely high quality food. However, service was not up to par. Hostess seemed confused on how to seat us, made comments customers should not hear, then very slow service during dining. Ambiance is great but a bit too noisy... like the acoustics are bad. All in all food is totally worth it. More...

The food was amazing and service was outstanding!
After an eternity of hearing her talk about wanting to visit this establishment, I finally brought my wife here on a Wednesday night as a surprise date. We arrived a little earlier than 5pm, but were graciously let in and seated while our host continued about his setup for the evening. The ambiance says "date night", by the way...
Our evening began with an incredibly tasty fresh bread that must have just been pulled from the oven (we smelled it as soon as we walked in) and an herb-butter spread. Delicious!!!!
Since we were the first customers, the owner (Suzette) actually took the time to come to our table and talk to us about the restaurant's history and how everything is prepared from scratch.
My wife and I each had an appetizer that consisted of a baby chard and green salad in a bacon vinaigrette topped off with a perfectly seared scallop. OMG!!!
We decided to order two different dishes so we could try each others plate out. She had the lobster tail on a bed of fresh egg pasta in a buttery garlic sauce with fresh herbs. Normally, she refuses to eat her lobster with anything but butter and lemon... The tails were cooked perfect and the seasoning was amazing! I've had fresh pasta before, but holy cow, I don't know why it married to that sauce so well. AMAZING!
I ordered the Manicotti with the Tomato Meat sauce... Okay, I'll be the first to admit that I'm a huge fan of Mama Mia's (Sorry if you read that Suzette!), but MM's cannot hold a candle to the experience I had when I took the first bite. The sauce was so well balanced in flavors that made it so incredibly tasty when paired with the fresh manicotti/ricotta. - Oh, by the way, you are offered fresh parmesan cheese, which I did indulge.
Creme Brulee' - Umm.... enough said!!!
Our waiter was a frequent visitor to our table offering water and more bread even though, by the start of our entree', he had about 10 separate tables that he was tending to besides us.
All through the ordering, I wasn't keeping tabs on the bill. After all, this was date night, which doesn't happen frequently. I was pleasantly surprised of the total for the amount of food and service we received.
Please, please, please do yourself a favor and get down there and check the place out. Fabulous food and atmosphere! We will be back for sure! More...

My husband and i enjoyed every minute of our experience. From Amy the hostess to Laurie our waitress. The food and atmosphere was Amazing!!!!!!
Always the best service and the food is fabulous! We go here for all the special events that we can make happen in Milwaukee.
I absolutely loved the Smoked Salmon Alfredo!....to die for!!
Had Todd for our server and he rocked it! Great recommendations and super individual. The salmon Alfredo over spinach linguine was beyond expectations.

Quaint little place to enjoy a relaxing dinner and excellent food. Wanted to go back the next night to try a new dish. Best compliment you can give a restaurant.

This was my first time and I had biscuits and gravy that were delicious. The service was amazing. Great pace for an intimate, romantic dinner.
Had a wonderful meal at your restaurant on Friday, November 11. Rob was an exceptional waiter and took great care of me from the moment I sat down. I loved the pasta with white clam sauce and the Manhattan Clam Chowder was delicious as well. Cannot wait to go back! More...

All I can say is AMAZING!!! I’m normally not a pasta lover but this food is to die for! The best pasta I’ve ever had! Amazing environment, Amazing food, loved everything!
Fantastic, as usual.. Robert is always the best!
Great dining!! I use to have lunch there every afternoon when I played for the Admirals. It was nice to dine there once again.
We come here because the whole experience is a pleasure. The food is excellent. My wife likes the available wines. When we are going for dinner on east side/downtown, we always consider going there.
It was my first time there and I liked the food one of the waiter did mess up my friends order but it wa token care of immediately and she was also offered a free drink because of it. I would recommend for a nice time
My wife and I have frequent Pasta Tree for several years. Robert is our person. He is an incredible person and professional. He understands the value of customer service and relationships. He has an engaging approach and a great sense of humor that compliments nicely with Pasta Tree's ambiance. Robert "You Rock"...As my wife noted, you are her favorite person...... More...
Pasta Tree is a quiet Italian restaurant with a lot of character. I would come here over any chain restaurant any day.
Once again the Pasta Tree was EXCELLENT!!! Bobby is the BEST, he has such a great personality that makes dining there always fun, he treats you like a member of the family..By far, the best place to eat in Milwaukee. More...
First two menu selections were unavailable to order (they were sold out). Overall experience was very good aside from not having the first two menu selections available.
We went on a Tuesday evening for dinner with a Groupon. We had a 6pm reservation made that day at 3:15. We were greeted promptly and seated. Bread was brought almost immediately with butter. The bread was great and you could tell it was fresh. Our waitress who also served as bartender seemed a bit hurried as she was the only server there with one helper, who also was the hostess. Being a Tuesday, they kept up very well with an average crowd, about half full. We ordered salads and our entrees right away as we had previously perused the menu. Unfortunately the salads lettuce was not very fresh and some brown? Our entrees were wonderful, Salmon Alfredo and Scallops alla Abruzzo. We never mentioned our Groupon until the bill came and they made no mention of it. We love the little restaurant atmosphere and will definitely be back. More...
Suzzette and the staff have been so warm and welcoming to my tarot collective, even running deals on wine for events and crafting special menus! Lori and Suzzette are the best!
Food was very good and plenty. It came to the table hot. Waiter (Robert) was friendly and always there when needed. Filled or water glasses and bread basket whenever needed. Fast service. Niece and romantic (went there for our 31st Anniversary). Plenty of room (we are not skinny people). Greeter came outside when I was parking right in front of the restaurant and let me know that it was a no parking zone and I would get a ticket. He also told me where to park (which I consider outstanding customer service). Will go there again. More...
I thought the food was excellent. The service started slow but got much better after we got our drinks. My wife had the lasagna which she enjoyed and I had the carbonara with spinach pasta which I also thought was excellent. If I had to pick one thing I did not care for was the drink prices. They were steep, and my wife and I both didn’t care for the drinks. However, we would not let that over shadow the rest of our meal. It was excellent. More...
Very delicious. Very small tables so you’re kinda forced to get up close and personal with who you’re with. It was cute though. Generous portions. Very cute. Definitely a place to go with someone you love. More...
One of my very favorites!!! Excellent food!!! I sure hope it stays around a long time vs closing as so many other long time staples & great restaurants in Milwaukee have!
My best friend and I came here for our 13th "frieniversary" and we had a great time. The food was AMAZING and the staff were all very nice and accommodating. The decor and ambience was very nice as well. I'll definitely come back here. The only thing is, it does have a "romantic" atmosphere so if you aren't there for a date or a one on one dinner it might be a little weird.. More...

Spent my anniversary eve with my hunny here last night..definitely recommend the ribeye...melted in my mouth! Hubby was very pleased with the lasagna, and the desserts were on point! Can't wait to come back!
I took a foodie friend from Chicago to Pasta Tree last night. I always like to surprise them by how amazing our restaurants are here. Suzzette and staff *did not* disappoint. We split the Arugula and shaved fennel salad. Beautiful. My friend's Aglio e Olio was absolutely stupendous. She couldn't stop raving. And Chef Suzzette pointed out that the broccoli came from an urban micro-farm. Added points for supporting local urban ag!! I had the Francese sauce over gnocchi, total comfort food. Put that together with a Coultobuono Chianti and lovely al fresco space....yep. 5 star experience. More...

Made a return visit to the Pasta Tree yesterday and was not as impressed as in the past. I ordered the Veal Picatta which was a special and was really disappointed. Lacked the lemon flavor I expected and the veal was not tender. In addition the cost of $30 was not warranted. My dinner partner's Gorganzola Alfredo was awesome. Cesar salad had dressing that barely covered the leaves! Several things from menu were not able to be ordered due to the "freezer" being down. Not sure if I will make another return visit. More...

Rob and I had a lovely dinner last night. I was in love as soon as we walked in and the aromas of garlic and herbs met my senses. We ordered tha Caprese salad, Scallops Artichoke Cream with Spinaxg Fettucini and the Wild Mushroom Risotto with Shrimp. Everything was fabulous. We also loved the bread and herb butter. I could have made a meal out of that!! For dessert we enjoyed the Nemesis Flourless Chocolate Cake. It was divine and paired well with my last few sips of red wine. Service was terrific, too. It was a bit loud in the area of the restaurant we were seated in. Some patrons were not terribly respectful of the diners around them. This was certainly no reflection on The Pasta Tree or its wonderful staff. We can't wait to come back. I really want to try a pesto dish and the fennel salad!!! More...
If you come here to eat, please note that your food will not be done in 15 minutes. Yes, it will take a while to get your food, it's a busy place and not like an Applebees. So if your expectation is to get your food 15 minutes after you order, you're dining at the wrong place. Food, service, and waitstaff was incredible! The set up is very quiet, dim lighting, and intimate. The perfect spot for a romantic dinner with your loved one. My first time there and was very impressed. Definitely would come back. More...
The bartender Amy last night was amazing! The manager Robert who I remember has been there for over 20 years suggested the absolute best entrees for our table .. The Pasta Tree is still the best hidden gem in the city... OUTSTANDING! More...

Our dinner was absolutely amazing! My lamb was mouthwatering and tasted like heaven on my plate! My husband ordered Veal Marsala and his was just as delicious! It was our 28th anniversary and they brought us a glass of Prosecco to celebrate and gave us the most romantic table, our waiter, Robert, was phenomenal and made us feel special! Our dessert topped off a perfect night!! Thank you Pasta Tree, we will be back!! More...
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary there and had a nice time. The food was excellent, our server Robert was very attentive and the ambiance was special. Fried calamari and mushrooms for the appetizer, scallops with pasta and lasagna for the entrees followed by tiramisu for desert. We will definitely be back and have already told our friends about it. Keep up the great job! More...
Have been going there for more than 20 years and have never failed to have a great meal. Truly great pasta in a unique atmosphere.
The Pasta Tree has been consistently great for twenty-plus years. Wonderful, simple pasta dishes, friendly and attentive service, all very reasonably priced. Nice intimate atmosphere too. Definitely recommended! More...
The food was incredible- even my girlfriend who is very picky about italian food- was stunned and pleased!! Our waitress- Bridgette-was awesome! We were very pleasantly surprised and will definitely return!!! Nice romantic, intimate atmosphere!! More...
Enjoyed a lovely supper on a Tuesday evening. The food was fresh and well prepared. The Cioppino (House Specialty) was so large it could have fed two people. The prices compare to chain restaurants but not in quality. Pasta Tree's freshly prepared to order meals were super. The bread was the best we've had in a very long time. I ordered a scallop dinner and was in heaven. They melted in your mouth. My husband had the Cioppino and I have to admit the homemade pasta warms up very well as a leftover. There is also a very nice wine bar as you enter. The servers, Andrea and Mike, were great and very welcoming. Thanks for a great experience and hope to return soon. So if you read this - stop in, sit back and relax. You will have a great time. More...
First of all the servers are great, know everything about the menus/wines and are extremely professional, the chef(s) (I heard it was one guy who cooks everyday) can make some AMAZING dishes, my fav is the smoked salmon with alfredo in spinnich noodles. The seating is close together but from what i have heard that is how it is in Italy. The atmosphere is outstanding and going to the Pasta Tree is just a great time all around. ****I saw some people mention this is a great place to take a date, I don't know if I would suggest this place for a first date, it may be too much and too romantic for at first date**** More...
it was such a nice atmosphere, busy but i can understand why it had the best food I have ever tasted made with love. I would highly reccomend this pplace to anyone
I've been goin to the Pasta Tree for over 6 years! It's definately one of the most romantic places to eat in Milwaukee. The Food is out of this world!!! My husband and I honeymooned in Italy, this place allows us to keep the memories fresh in our minds. With 3 homemade pastas and any type of sauce imaginable, plus an extensive wine list and dessert menu, You cannot go wrong! True there is no parking lot and the tables are set close together, but that's the way the Italians do it! So if your just visiting or have lived in Milwaukee for years, I Highly recommend to try The Pasta Tree out. You won't be disappointed! More...
I had driven by this restaurant many times with no idea as to the caliber of food and wine. Then i read the reviews in Citysearch. Glad I did! From the outside very non descript. All three pasta dishes were excellent and the wine list was very good with a wide variety to meet the most discriminating palette and pocket book. Definitely a place to go back and sample the endless variety of pasta dishes and specials. More...
the excellent service, food and wine variety, and cozy romantic atmosphere make this a great place for a date.
As far as price, ambiance, and to rate the food..... Price: Very reasonable, you are deffinetly getting your moneys worth. Ambiance: Very happening, With a wine bar that suits everyones taste buds. Alot of character, reminds me of a New York, Little Italy restaurant. There is not of alot of places that when it is crowded I like being there. When it is crowded it feels like the place to be. A perfect place for a first date. Rating of the food: A perfect 10 for the price. Each sauce is especially made for you. There is no mass production. Very delicious....... And finally Service: All the staff is very knowledged on all the dishes, and make sure you are comfortable. More...

Before we were married my husband chose the Pasta Tree for our first romantic dinner. Less than a year later, as we waited for delicious salads, exquisite pasta, and out-of-this-world desserts, he proposed to me with an antique rose gold and diamond ring. Romantic? Incredibly!
