BEST SHOP EVER! I just had the absolute joy of speaking with the owner and ordering a bouquet of flowers for my sister in law. Last minute on a Sunday, I decided to send flowers to the hotel room my husband was checking into that night. When my husband arrived he said he was greeted by a very pleasant aroma surrounding him. I contacted the owner (sorry missed the name) on same day as my wife's birthday earlier this week and I requested a delivery.  I called when they opened and within 3 hours the flowers were delivered to Factoria.  My wife loved them and every one there said I have great taste!!!!!!  Sorry - can't take the credit for that as the flower selection was not made by me!  The price was average but service was outstanding.  Thank you!!!!! Great job, Mercer Island Florist! I ordered online from Idaho, using the Bloom Nation platform. I've had mixed results trusting that florists will design something vaguely close to the photos on those sites. You knocked it out of the park. My boyfriend sent me flowers while I was visiting Seattle from Providence RI. The place I was staying was hard to find, so the delivery driver (who was quite funny) called my boyfriend and patiently stayed on the phone with him while I tracked down the flowers - which were exceptionally beautiful and smelled great. Overall a great experience.

They are surprisingly reasonably priced for Mercer Island. Gorgeous work and the staff couldn't be more helpful. I won't buy at the market anymore. MI Florist is my go to now!

I recently celebrated a milestone birthday.  To my sheer delight, my dear friend who resides on Mercer Island decided to surprise me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers.   I was not at home at the time when the flowers were delivered.  But I did I receive a voicemail from MI Florist telling me I had a surprise waiting for me on my doorstep.   Very nice personal customer service touch to let me know.  I appreciate that they went out of their way to make sure I knew I had a delivery.  When I arrived home, a beautiful Spring arrangement was waiting for me: a lovely blush pink and white aromatic floral display in a decorative vase wrapped creatively in green tissue paper.  Beautiful roses, lilies, hydrangeas and white apple blossoms filled the arrangement.  Very little green as filler, so the bouquet was primarily floral.  It is gorgeous!    Thank you MI Florist, you made my milestone birthday extra special. My family has been using Mercer Is. Florist for probably over 40 years (birthdays, proms, anniversaries) and they never disappoint--the arrangements are beautiful and always on time.  Our most recent experience was for my father's memorial service and the bouquets & sprays were nothing short of stunning.  Jennifer and staff were helpful to my family from start to finish.  They even arranged taking the flowers from the church to the gravesite the following day.  All went smoothly.  For any special occasion I highly recommend them. What an incredible atmosphere and sense of pride this business has! It is beautiful, well kept, and as a costumer you are welcomed into the back of the store when looking through flowers and choosing arrangements. The new owner of Mercer Island Florist is so generous and thoughtful as well with her time. I am a new business owner and I am doing a product photo shoot in a few weeks and I was welcomed to look through pieces I might want to use as props, things I would be able to rent for a morning instead of purchase, and was able to share photos and brainstorm ideas for color palettes and textures of the flowers I might want to use. I'm a big fan.  They did our wedding, and have done many things for us since.  The flowers are always great.  Recently, I came back in at least 3 years after our wedding, and Diane not only remembered my name, she remembered my daughter's name too.

I adore Diane and the Mercer Island Florist team. For our wedding I looked at so many florists and thank goodness I picked this one. I love pink and glitter, and MIF put sequins INSIDE the lilies, that's how perfectly they fit my theme! They totally worked with my budget and I got so many compliments on the flowers, and people almost never comment on floral arrangements.  They did our church, bouquets, tables, and a giant heart made of roses.  Everything was so gorgeous I am hiring them for all my future events and parties. They are ranked as being 4 $ signs but I don't think they are that much. They will work with you, and even if they charged more you get so much for what you pay for!! Mercer Island Florist has been a family owned business for two generations now. Diane, the owner, grew up on the island and knows almost everyone by name.  Typical flower shops don't get much foot traffic due to phone and internet orders, but MIF is constantly swamped with friends and patrons.  They will come in to chat with Diane and her staff about life on the island.  Their flower arrangements are exceptional, some of the best I've seen in the Seattle area.  The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and their designs will have you talking for weeks. The designs aren't completely original, and the cost is a little pricey, but this floral shop has consistently high quality flowers. They also have a cute gift shop with candles, purses, that sort of thing. They are willing to work with the customer to design arrangements and home decor involving flowers.
