Food is fantastic and never disappointed, staff are lovely and very welcoming however service does take a while as I'm assuming everything is made fresh (which is good) but it would be nice if all our food arrived at the same time

Best Milkshakes around!! We took our family there tonight, and were pleasantly surprised from start to finish. The decor is smart, fresh and fun, my kids particularly liked the ice cream shaped furniture and the light up floor tiles filled with yummy looking treats! There was a number of cosy looking booths down one side of the wall, a very comfortable VIP area in the corner with lots of privacy and quite a few tables centrally, so more than enough to accommodate everyone even on the busiest of days. It took us quite easily 30 minutes to choose what we wanted on the menu, there was just so much to choose from, and it all looked absolutely delicious! The numerous ice creams on display were almost impossible to choose from as they all looked so good - every thing from Ferraro Rocher, Millions, Ruffles, Snickers to Hershey's! The items on the menu were imaginative and well thought out. Everything is clearly priced with no hidden extras, and extremely good value for what you're getting and in comparison to similar businesses(although I don't believe there is anywhere quite as unique as this place!)I've spent my whole life dreaming of a place like this! It is literally the stuff of childhood dreams! From milkshakes to Sundaes to crepes and cakes, the proprietors of Melt have clearly gone above and beyond to provide a first class selection of products that will wet the appetite of anyone that should be lucky enough to walk through their doors! Everything they offer is just spectacularly 10/10 in the temptation department, it's really hard to resist such delights when they are presented in ways you've never even dreamt of( I have a huge sweet tooth and have always struggled to find anywhere that lives up to ice cream parlours of my youth in Cornwall with their towering knickerbocker glorys and banana splits, which have the added awe of childhood rose tinted glasses!)The staff were very friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the establishment was very clean and child friendly. We were given some complimentary waffles with our order, like the rest of our order, we were not disappointed! Warm, and soft but crisp, they were all you'd want but not usually get in waffles! The milkshakes were the best, every mouthful was filled with chocolate and cream, unlike every other we've had, where it's all stuck at the bottom. We were just so impressed, as I'm sure you can gather! A serious delight, thank you for offering such a fantastic service, we can't wait to come back! Worth the drive from the Ribble Valley. More...

I came here with my friends on the weekend and the overall experience was excellent. I have come numerous times in the past and there's never been been a problem. I have also come for my friends birthday and booked the VIP area a few months ago.The store itself was quite busy, and the workers were rotating quickly. My friends and I ordered some gelato milk shakes, cookie dough and a large waffle, and it tasted delicious! The price is quite decent, considering the large size of the desserts.
