What do you love most about your job?
We love our clients - they truly become part of the family. As a husband and wife team it's a family business and we like people to feel comfortable and be fully honest with us.
We are true kitchen geeks - Kelly's favourite day of the month is when the KBB magazine arrives and she can spend a good hour looking at the latest trends, designs etc.
We genuinely love this business - we really think that shows in all that we do. We try to always go the extra mile and treat our clients how we would expect to be treated (we were brought up well you see).
Don't be fooled by how young we look ;-) we have a wealth of knowledge and experience in our field and always love to learn about what we do. Its truly our passion and we are open to any ideas and willing to try anything for our clients to get the end result they really want.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having worked for a number of national retailers, trade companies, online kitchen companies and then independents - we've seen this industry inside out and back to front. We've built up a vast knowledge of all things KBB (kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms) and have a marvellous little black book of installers who have not only fitted our own projects but those of our family members (now that takes some courage to recommend!!)
We know what works and what doesn't - we've sourced what we feel are the best products, at a reasonable price point, can offer the best service in a beautiful boutique showroom in a lovely little town. Our name has meaning 'better things' and we really do mean it.
Why should our clients choose you?
We wont just design 'boxes' in a space - this is the usual feedback we get about our high street counterparts. We listen to your needs, we work with you to make sure your room that is being designed is what works for you not what our product can do. We can source from multiple suppliers not just one and so this means we can ensure we are matching the product to the client throughout. We will always design sensibly to the space utilising our years of experience - not just to make a quick sale. If you need 2 design appointments or 12 that is fine. We communicate throughout our projects and will drop in on site throughout the installation to ensure all is going well - we know this isn't the case with the majority of our competitors and something we pride ourselves on.
