stayed here as a couple for a wedding at barra barn, check in was quick and manager was very polite. stairs are a little bit narrow and I didn’t see any lift or signs for one, maybe ask hotel if you need that. ||room:||door to the room is quite shallow and my partner who is 6 ft 2 had to duck to get in but that was the only issue we had. bed was really big and comfortable, more than enough pillows. had a dressing table with a mirror and plugs next to it, the manager also offered me a hairdryer at reception when we checked in so they must keep these at the front desk. room also had coffee and tea facilities for use, a full sized wardrobe with full length mirrors and some drawers on the dressing table.||bathroom:||It was a typical ensuite, with a shower cubicle, it wasn’t the largest but it did the job and was clean, there was also complimentary toiletries like soaps and shampoos etc. |||location:||right off the main square in old meldrum, there is a shop close and a baker if needed but there is food on site, we never tried it so can’t comment. we were only £7 for a taxi to barra barn that’s how close it was.||amazing location and really clean, comfortable rooms. would 100% stay there again.
