Stole our domain from namecheap and now put on sale for $4490 when original cost was $15! Daylight robbery this - proven group of crooks who are hell bent on giving the customers a harrowing time. I doubt these so called positive reviews are actually legit or not. Dan is really upsetting. They have a serious problem with domain sellers listing other folks' domain names for sale without their permission. Shortly after having about sixty fraudulent listings of my domains removed from Dan.com, now thirty more rogue ones showed up. As with previous recent incident, I contacted them with my Whois privacy off and using the email on record with ICANN. Now, the additional demand is that I make changes to all of my registrar records to prove that I am the actual owner first. So, instead of simply suspending the listing and asking the alleged scammer to verify their ownership, I as a non-customer an being asked to do thse additional time-consuming steps? Note that, during all this time,the fraudulent listings still remain. They are being propagated to over 100 partner sites. And potentially some unwitting buyer will be very frustrated when the sale doesn't go through. These recurrent rogue listings are happening way too many times with Dan.com. At least have the decency to provide a block to prevent any future listings unless ownership is proven upfront. More...

Dan.com deeply saddens me. I do not use them at all for buying or selling domains. Sellers on their platform keep listing my domains for sale without my authorization. Sometimes these rogue sellers are demanding 5 to 10x more than what I as the actual owner have listed on my registrar marketplace. I use my registrar marketplace, Dynadot, for my actual, verified sale listings. Unfortunately, Dynadot is unable to stop these rogue sellers on Dan. And I keep asking Dan.com to remove the unauthorized listings, but the same problem keeps returning. More...

I sold a domain through Dan over 3 weeks ago but still haven't received payment for it. They have repeatedly told me that they are 'chasing the bank' for an explanation as the payment was made to an account that no longer exists and thus should have bounced back. They appear to have no intention of reimbursing me whilst passing the blame back on to their bank and telling me to wait and wait...! The refund policy isn't clear, it's buried deep in the T&Cs... when I requested a refund, I was informed they couldn't do it, despite delivering me nothing. When I said I would write a negative review on my customer journey experience, I was told I was "blackmailing" them, insinuating I am a criminal. Absolutely shocking customer service from "Dimitar - my transfer specialist."
