Everything was delicious! We ordered a variety of dishes. We started with Vegetable spring rolls with plum sauce. They were fried to perfection, very tasty, and non greasy. Almost addicting eating them.Next, medium sizes wor wonton soup. Very tasty, rich broth, lots of flavour and just the right portion for two people. I'd like more wontons and shrimp but would order it again.Last, we had Ginger beef with side of rice. The ginger beef was nice and crunchy, the sauce was light thickness but paired well with the white rice. The rice portion was a bit small but more for a single person.The food was overall great, the price was very reasonable. One thing to improve on is the service by checking on the table more as we were waiting on our drinks until our food was served. To be fair, the restaurant was very busy and they seemed short with staff. They did provide a pitcher of water which tied us over. 5 stars! More...

I love Mekong! Every time we go, no matter if it's to dine in or carry out, we leave with smiles! The staff is all super friendly and the food is amazing. This is a quirky place, which feels more like a Chinese restaurant in its interior decor. My friend had the Mekong Noodles, which were glass noodles with vegetables and beef. The dish was somehow super flavorful and savory, even though our waiter swore up and down they didn't use MSG. I had a combo phad thai and chicken curry with an eggroll. It was at least two meals worth of food, and good food at that. I would eat here again for thai. More...

We're been eating here for over 15+ years.. The food is always great & flavorful, great portions, and the staff is friendly. My favorite is the seafood soup with coconut milk (Tom yum kah talay). Great tastes & ample ingredients. The curry is awesome, & the Pad Thai is better than anyone in town.. This is our favorite restaurant. This is my favorite restaurant in Olympia.I came here a week ago at my boyfriend's recommendation-he grew up here, and I'm from CA. We're flying back tonight, and I asked him to drive me to get Mekong-I just loved it so much.By the time we thought to leave a review and take a picture, I had already eaten the eggroll and finished half of the curry. I got spice level 2, just in case, but 3 is perfect.
