Meghana Prasad Makeup & Skin Care

For my wedding, I wanted to feel like a more polished, beautiful version of myself. Meghana delivered that, and much more, to me and my bridal party! Her communication skills, professionalism, and talent are undeniable, and it was absolutely worth the investment to hire her as our hair/makeup artist. I was nervous because I had been breaking out pretty badly in the weeks before the wedding and I didn't want the redness or bumps to be visible in person or in photos. Looking back on them, I literally cannot tell that my acne was flaring at all! Meghana brought a second artist to do our hair so she could concentrate on the makeup looks, and everyone get exactly what they requested and didn't have their hair falling apart by the end of the day. My mom/mother-in-law both wanted very minimal makeup looks, and Meghana went step-by-step with them to make sure they didn't feel overdone. It was a pleasure to have both artists with us while we were getting ready, and both of their energies were calm, friendly, also very efficient so as to get everyone ready on time for photos--but we never felt rushed. I am so, so thankful my sister came across Meghana's Instagram page and forwarded it to me. Meghana's quality of work is flawless and she really listened to what I wanted my wedding make up and hair to look like. She was a blessing on the wedding day! She went above and beyond just doing hair and make up. She kept me calm, kept my bridal party on schedule, helped my bridesmaids get their sarees on, and helped me put on my lehenga. I worked with Meghana for both wedding skin prep (facials, dermaplaning, peels) and makeup & hair for both my rehearsal dinner and wedding day. It was a pleasure all the way through! Meghana didn't try to upsell me and was honest about what would work best with my skin, hair, and features. She was always on time (early!) and such a professional. My family who had their hair & makeup done on wedding day all raved about her easygoing personality, talent, and loved how they looked. I cannot say enough good things about Meghana. My sister & I both used her for our wedding makeup and we were thrilled with our looks. My makeup felt very natural to me - not overly done - but also enhanced my features for photos. My makeup lasted all day and night with no touch ups and even withstood my tears! Meghana was a delight to work with! She brought two assistants to my hotel suite to do hair and makeup for me, four bridesmaids, a groomswoman, my mom and my mother-in-law. I wanted a very natural makeup look and she understood that perfectly. She enhanced my features, but I still looked like myself. I also loved my hairstyle. She gave me loose waves with plaited braids in the back where she placed a beautiful flower comb my florist had made for me. I couldn't have asked for a better hair and makeup look!I also follow her on Facebook and Instagram and she left a wonderful tribute to my husband for gifting me a typewriter with a hand-typed letter the morning of our wedding.
