This party was our 10 year-old’s dream come true! We kept it a secret from our son and all of the birthday party attendees. ..and when they saw the truck pull up, they went wild!! Like, won-a-million dollars-wild. They had a blast with all of the games; they played their favorites and tried new ones. Bryan was so kind and patient with the 8 boys. It was an amazing experience. We used MegaWatt Entertainment today as part of our summer fun for school aged childcare. They were great! The kids enjoyed it, our staff were impressed with the great interactions the guys had with the kids, they kept things moving and were able to accomodate several age groups and a large number of kids moving through. MegaWatt Entertainment came to our house for my son's 10th birthday party and everyone had a blast! It was air conditioned in the truck but there was also outdoor screens with shades if they wanted to have more room. They were great with the kids and I had no idea 2 hours could go by so fast. We had MegaWatt Entertainment come to our house in Chatfield for our 8 year old’s birthday party which included children ages 2-8, but primarily 8. They provided age appropriate games that the children all enjoyed. There are several game options inside an air conditioned clean trailer. It is a party atmosphere inside with lighting effects. There are also gaming options outside of the trailer. They we’re also willing to bring tables to use as well as bean bag boards and giant Jenga. The owner and his son were friendly and great at showing the kids how to play games. I was able to attend a free event sponsored by Pepsi and Silver Lake foods. We were able to try out the trailer for a whole hour. It was amazing! I talked with the owner at length about autism and if the trailer could be made "sensory friendly." The owner told me he can turn down the sound and the flashing red and blue overhead lights. He can limit the number of games that are played at one time which will also cut down on visual stimulation. He has some of the old school classics for games and The original NES system. The trailer is very comfortable. The owner is very nice and willing to accomadate for our kids and their special needs. i booked a party with megawatt gaming truck Nov 09 2018 for my sons 7th bday party and they had a BALL!!! so much so that their talking about it to date lol. overall it was a wonderful experience they had every game my kid and his party wanted to play plus a bunch they really didn't know about but loved once they played them. the owner and his son was very nice and attentive to the kids i put the kids on the bus and was able to go and prepare food for the kids and had to time to relax a little while they were on there. we had no mishaps it was a very calm and maintained atmosphere. I only went and checked on them maybe 2-3 times and every time they looked like they were having a blast it as worth every dime spent. The experience is one every kid should have under their belts... What do you love most about your job?
I love to see the joy on the faces of both the parents and also the children as they step into the game trailer for the first time. Our trailer is not just a place to play video games - we create a WOW experience that creates an amazing memory for the children and parents that they can talk about for years to come. We are in the business of making memories by bringing families and friends together.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had had a piano playing business for over 15 years and although this is a great opportunity for me I wanted to provide entertainment in a very focused way to youth, tweens and teens. I was also a Cubmaster with BSA and I enjoy working with kids. The video game trailer is a service, entertainment and positive place and we also help solve a problem in our community that the citizens here are busy but also there is a lack of entertainment that is awesome and also comes to their house. We fill that niche very well!
Why should our clients choose you?
Not only do we provide a WOW experience during our events, we take care of the organizer so they have a seamless and easy time putting on the best party ever. We also have completed certifications in youth protection and we being parents ourselves we want each child to feel safe and supported while playing.
