What do you love most about your job?
We understand just how special these occasions are, so we love that our clients trust us enough to bring their vision of their event to life. It is our pleasure to ensure that no matter what, each and every one of our clients leaves their event thinking "that was better than I could have ever imagined".
What inspired you to start your own business?
There is no greater feeling than being in control of your own destiny and deciding how you want to spend each day. Megara Events was founded in 2016 by two friends over a shared passion for creating inspired events around your most special celebrations and corporate occasions. A background in PR and Communications, combined with a love for people and providing an exceptional service, made it inevitable that on our joint return to Cape Town the dream of founding Megara would become a reality.

We understand that our clients may have busy and demanding lives, so our role is to not only to alleviate the stress that comes with planning a wedding, but also allow you to really enjoy the process from start to finish.We take pride in every detail of the wedding planning process and guarantee to bring your dream to life. We can assist in all areas of the planning process from start to finish. Our full coordination package is the most comprehensive but we also offer on-the-day packages that might be better suited for a bride who wants to do most of the planning herself but minimize the stress a few weeks prior - this is where Megara takes over. Each wedding will be quoted for on a bespoke basis, based on your various requirements.
