We love Christine! She has really helped us with our dog's reactivity toward other dogs and people, as well as her overall impulse control. Christine is knowledgable and realistic about dog behavior. She is a balanced trainer, and I think this is the approach that works best for most people and dogs. My favorite thing about her business is that she has other dogs on site, allowing us to safely and carefully socialize our dog in a controlled setting. She takes it slowly and never puts any dog at risk. So whether your dog is a social butterfly, is fearful with dogs, or can't hold it together when they see another dog, she has the right set up to help your dog improve. I came to her after having owned and fostered many dogs, and I have had a good amount of experience with training dogs with positive reinforcement, but our newest dog companion was giving me some challenges that I didn't want to try to address on my own. She was reactive with both people and dogs, and her behavior was getting more intense. Christine, in 2 months, helped turn us around and gave us the tools so that I could enjoy walking and jogging with our dog again. She was able to spot mistakes I was making that I couldn't see myself because I was getting so stressed by our dog's reactivity. Her help has also inspired me to keep learning and working with our dog, because training is a lifelong process. I would recommend Christine to anyone and everyone who is willing to put in the work. She can't fix your dog all on her own, but she can certainly give you the tools you need to have a happy canine companion---and that is the best you can hope for with any trainer. More...

Great trainers! Christine went above and beyond to make sure the dogs were interacting the way we wanted them to.

Christine did such an excellent job with training! We have a 7mo German Shepard who was highly reactive and didn’t get the socialization she needed early on. She is a changed dog now and we couldn’t be happier. She now waits for us to say “Okay let’s go” instead of rocketing out of the door. Before she couldn’t go on a walk in our neighborhood without acting very aggressively towards other people and dogs. Christine noticed that she was really just afraid and timid, and took a different approach to help build her confidence. We now have such a great dog and I can’t recommend Christine highly enough! Totally fair rates even with additional gas fees since we’re quite a ways away but having Christine come to our house for each session has been very convenient.

Christine has been amazing in training our Akita puppy. As many dog lovers out there know, Akitas are one of the most difficult breeds to train because of their head strong personality. But Christine was a natural in establishing herself as a pack leader with our dog and it was near instantaneous how she helped us control our dog's behavior. The biggest worry my wife & I had was that we may have to give up our puppy as we couldn't trust him with our toddler & infant. But because of Christine we no longer have to worry about that. The training with our dog was secondary. The key to the change in behavior of our puppy was how Christine trained my family and I how to be good pack leaders to our puppy. That's where it made a huge difference. I would recommend her to anyone. More...
