We just moved to the Galleria area was looking for a good groomer for our elderly dog ! Meadowlake was so professional made sure he was placed in a quite place while waiting for his groom ! I really don't post reviews, I had to on ths one. Today I picked up my dog Yoshi after a 15 day stay for training. Yoshi is just over a year and was a handfull. In 15 days you guys taught him so much. He can take food/treats without biting your hand off. He can walk/lead without pulling you. We adopted a 2 year old pup two months ago and had an unexpected trip come up....we were so nervous about finding the perfect accommodations for her while we were away! I called Meadowlake and asked if we could come in for a tour and they said absolutely, any time during normal business hours. We met with Ariel and she was so thorough and answered all of our questions during the tour. She definitely put us at ease! They also offer to do a free daycare evaluation (and if your pup passes, they get a week of free daycare).When we checked her in, it was an efficient process and they assured us we could call to check in. We totally got suckered into adding on the monthly pumpkin munchies because they looked edible for humans! We were 100% THOSE people who called to check on their dog every day and they staff was so nice! When we called they said everyone loves her and she loves everyone and they were giving her lots of pets!Since she passed daycare, we have taken her for the free daycare and she loves it! She comes home happy and exhausted and today the staff member lit up when we told him who we were picking up. He said he loves her! I appreciate the staff's enthusiasm - it truly puts my mind at ease! We've already booked two more boarding stays with Meadowlake and are confident out pup will love it! More...

My dog has been coming here since he was 3 months old. Staff all around are welcoming and professional. Trainers are very professional and kind. They go over everything with you regarding your dogs training and give you feedback on what to work on at home. My dog Ortiz and I come every Saturday if we can which helps him keep up with the training he has already. A little refresher course for him. My experience at Meadowlake is by far phenomenal. Ginger has been going to Meadowlake since February. She cries in the car to get there. She is so happy to play with all the dogs. All employees are super nice and love dogs. My fur babies truly enjoy going. Took advantage of the free daycare evaluation which resulted in 6 additional free days once they were approved. I've had tendinitis in one foot and couldn't walk them 2x day. This helped me and my foot out tremendously. They come home exhausted but happy. Soon as I pick up my keys in the morning, they're running to the door and straight to the car. They're whole bodies are wagging when we arrive at the resort. This let's me know they truly enjoy being there and are well cared for.As stated in previous comments, the staff is always very friendly and provides verbal reports of how the day went. Meadowlake took great care of our puppy Queen. They gave is daily updates with pictures. This was important as it was our first time leaving Queen at a resort and for such a long period of time. If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would ! Nidya, my puppies handler did an AMAZING JOB ! Everything was so professional and at the same time heartfelt ! Everyone knew my dog , everyone had had some kind of interaction with him ! His training was very good for an 11 week old pit puppy! I could tell he was extremely stubborn but they still did a great job ! And an even better at explaining his training to me and taking the time to show me how to correctly keep up and be consistent ! I trust Meadowlake Resort for caring for my dog. I would have provided 5 stars, but did not, because they need to offer more transparency in terms of prices for their activity packages. I use another boarding place when the room I reserve for my dog is booked, and that service provider list their prices for packages for their customers in writing. It is not a mystery. I find it unusual when no activity packages are listed on their website or presented in written form to customers. It is VERY shady. When you call to request a package customers are provided with the more expensive one, because the cheapest package is not available. What does this mean? It makes no sense. Shady. More...

I'm beyond thankful for the entire team at Meadowlake!!! They have been a god sent! My doggies aka (my babies) Athos and Pancake are regulars at the galleria location, and I'm so blessed that I found a daycare as wonderful as this one. This was the first time I’ve used boarding since having my dog for 8 years. They treated both my dogs very well. The staff was very kind and respectful when I called to check in on the boys. Meadowlake is always the BEST when it comes to having a place to leave my fur baby! They are always happy to see her, every staff member I've ever encountered is so helpful, and my pup is always exhausted and happy after pick-up. I took a tour of the facility and was surprised to find that the kennel areas weren't loud with barking, and they all were super clean. Every dog was relaxing, gently wagging their tail, and seemed content to be there. Not like a traditional kennel at all! I always request a "patio room" so my pup can go in and out as she likes.Their day-care program is definitely worth it if you can afford it (their prices are great, but every day adds up) and if you live close enough. I like to bring my pup on Saturdays sometimes when I know I'm going out shopping for an extended period of time.For my last visit, I enrolled my pup in their 5-day training program (they have longer ones) and I am SO SURPRISED by the huge difference! For pick-up you go to an "exit class" of sorts where one of the trainers teaches you everything that your dog learned as well as how to continue the training. They do recommend using e-collars, but that is the OWNER'S CHOICE! I was provided a video where I could watch some of my pup's training sessions, and overall I just had an amazing experience.Meadowlake does have a new location, but I don't like that one as much because the kennels are built like traditional ones, and the noise was awful. They don't have outdoor play areas like the 288 location either, which disappoints me. But the service the one time I had to go there was just as excellent!I can't recommend this place enough. My pup helped me through a difficult time in my life, so I'm admittedly very overprotective of her. She's always in good hands here! More...
