I would like to thank McLeans for their excellent work. A really great job. Two large bay windows and two smaller windows installed plus, soffits and guttering replaced. A difficult job given my sloping driveway, not to mention the hot weather, but they got everything done. From the moment I first met Simon I thought what a fantastic, happy, and honest guy he was. His approach was warm, and kind too, just the quality I was looking for in tradesman for my mother and myself. My mother had her windows and doors done first and we could not be more happier with the work done. I had my extension, windows and front door double glazing done, and also my front walls rebuilt, and back garden fences done. I was amazed at how hard and fast all the people involved in doing these projects worked, and would like to say a very BIG THANK you all of them, and the office lady Kate.Every time when I needed to contact Simon about anything, not only did he respond promptly but also he done what he said he would do. I was very reassured by Simon every step of the way from finish to the end, and he exceeded my expectations. I chose to replace all of my windows with Mcleans as they are a local company, and had done my neighbours conservatory. From start to finish, everyone I dealt with showed great knowledge, and were so polite, and punctual! The fitting was carried out so cleanly, I couldn't believe they had been in my house for 4 days! I am so pleased with my new windows, they have really made a big difference to my house, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Having had the joy of a visit from one of the large national companies, I decided to get a comparison from a local company, and i'm so glad that I did! Not only was the quotation cheaper, the salesman demonstrated his knowledge of their products, and even had some suggestions that I hadnt thought of. When the guys came to fit the new widows I was slightly worried as it seemed such a big job, but they really put me at ease, and I can't believe how tidy they were! I was a bit embarrassed that the house was cleaner when they left!! My house now looks really good, and is so much warmer. Massive thank you to Simon, Andy and Lewis for all of their efforts. Our new doors were installed on Tuesday without a hitch by two excellent fitters – John and Ian, both of whom were extremely professional, diligent and courteous. From the sales phase, through planning and in delivery the staff were very helpful and I found their advice invaluable. The job was not that straightforward as it involved replacing some very old '70s glass panelling on the roof with a single sheet, removing, reinforcing and working round the existing roof timbers. A new door and window were added at the same time. The job went in on time, the fit and finish of the units is excellent, communication was handled well and the kitchen was left immaculate.
