There are so many wonderful things I can say about Karen and her quality of work but one of the first things I ever noticed about Karen is her genuine ability to make people feel comfortable. Being a mother of 5 you can imagine how daunting the task of getting family photos can be. I never once felt overwhelmed with the process. Karen, and her lovely assistant Christine, made sure every fine detail was covered from start to finish. They even emailed me ideas and suggestions as to what our family should wear. During our photo shoot Karen was a dream with our whole family and knew exactly what to say to us to get us all relaxed and smiling naturally. So in love with my photos!!! I see myself in a whole new light. I've worked so hard to get where I am and to see hard work pay off, and have it captured by such an amazing photographer is the best gift I could ever give myself! Karen, Christine and I connected late this past summer. I felt I had an instant connection with each of them in different ways. Karen reached out to me to do makeup for their annual boudoir marathon and of course there was no way I was going to pass that up. I decided to book a boudoir session with Karen very spur of the moment that same weekend. What was intended as a gift for someone else became something very valuable to me as well. The whole night before I was too nervous to even sleep but the nerves died down almost instantly as I walked through the door for my shoot. Karen is absolutely incredible at what she does. She made me feel so comfortable and beautiful and by the end of the shoot I wished she would just photograph me all day.
