What do you love most about your job?
At McGoff & Vickers(Fire & Security Systems) we believe that our greatest asset is our people. Our management team have many years experience in the fire & security industry and our dedicated team of highly professional engineers are trained to exacting standards. With the rapid progress of technology within our industry, we regularly send employees on training courses to keep up to date with changes.
As a member of the ECA we employ apprentices strictly under the terms and conditions laid down by the governing bodies. We are committed to the personal and professional development of our staff and expect to be rewarded with the Investors in People award very soon. We are an Equal Opportunities Employer.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I left school in 1986 and then successfully completed an electrical apprenticeship with Crown House Engineering. I worked on a large number of contracts and gained a wide and diverse knowledge of on site work. I soon wanted to be my own boss.
