We found Matthew by scanning the Web, which isn't always the best way to find talented individuals! But after meeting him, we knew immediately that he would listen to us and work with us, in a way that meant our dreams would be realised. And boy! Did he work hard, and with us!
As an artist myself I realise that I can be pretty demanding, wanting always to investigate every aesthetic solution, and Matthew responded very enthusiastically to everything I put forward, coming up with unique and creative solution.
He's great to work with and is quick to respond to any queries you might have regarding the building of your new home! He offers excellent advice and seems to have an endless source of interesting solutions to each and every eventuality!

This dream Architect is a kind, caring, extremely organised professional genius! Brilliant with technology. Matthew Cowan drew up plans for our new build. As a one off venture, we bought a plot of land which was only 12 metres wide but 40 metres long. Matthew held our hand from start to finish. Listening intently to what we "wanted", but professionally challenging our ideas which were not practical. He put the project out to tender, dealt with Planning, produced building warrant, oversaw the building, coordinated the Engineers. Nothing is too much trouble for Matthew and he was a delight to deal with. He had an excellent working relationship with the builder too. We couldn't have done this project without Matthew.
