Richard is an amazing Personal Trainer. He is very good, reliable and friendly. He really knows what he is doing and his sessions are just amazing and full of fun! I've been training with mike for nearly 3 years. In the beginning it was a chore but now it's part of my life and I get depressed when I can't train. I joined the 6 weeks programme in April with Richard as my trainer. I wanted to lose weight but most importantly I wanted help in getting into the routine of making fitness and eating healthy more of a lifestyle so when I do lose the weight I would also be able to maintain my weight. Richard was successful in doing that, he gave me home workouts to do every week and in our gym sessions he always kept on pushing me even though I thought I was too weak he always believed in the best me. He was very supportive, encouraging and always made me feel better about myself. Also, never failed to make you laugh even if the jokes were bad. After the six weeks programme I wanted to do another more 4 weeks because I noticed when I was weighed, the scale didn't go down even though I gained muscles and lost body fat. To be honest the journey was not easy, it was very tough ( especially the high knees and the burpees!!!) . I didn't weigh myself again after the 4 weeks because the scale is just a number but i felt and looked great. I started to love myself more, I lost weight, toned. I am stronger, fitter and healthier as ever. I am the best version of myself. Before I hated fitness but after this programme I found some workouts I love such as boxing and weightlifting. Even though the 10 weeks are over, because Richard gave me the tools on how to enjoy a healthy, fit lifestyle, I'm still continuing my weight loss and self-love journey. It does not matter what is on the scale, it is about how you feel that's important. And beacause of them I feel FANTASTIC!!! And if they can help me. They can also help you too!! I started with Richard having not exercised in 5 Years. I had very specific needs as I do have a muscle disorder that has made all my previous attempts at getting fit fail miserably! We worked together to figure out what I could do and build routines around that meaning I was never overwhelmed by the program! 6 weeks in I've managed to lose a stone, but most important improve my fitness and feel 100X better! I know I couldn't have done it alone (I've tried & failed many times) so anyone who feels like fitness is totally unachievable and overwhelmed by weight gain or whatever your reasons these guys are amazing and it doesn't take long to feel so much healthier! I sprained my ankle a week ago - haven't been able to walk properly since. Mike made my muscles work well enough to walk properly in 1 session. I will need another- but being able to walk normally has taken the strain off the rest of my muscles. What a relief! More...
