May has been so amazing through out our whole wedding, from consultation to engagement pics to the wedding. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control some of my wedding pictures were lost. I was/am very sad about this. However, May has been the epitome of professionalism. She was clear, upfront, and honest about the situation and was genuinely apologetic and empathetic toward us and the situation at hand and has done everything in her power to make it right. I acknowledge the fact no one could have done anything to prevent this from happening and it isn’t May’s fault at all but she owned it and has done her best to make the best out of a bad situation. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Having the ability to execute and compose an image that will move the viewers eye and create an emotion based on subject matter, lighting, and timing.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I always try to find out what my clients goals are for the shoot. What is their inspiration behind the design, their brand, their wedding decor, etc. The more I learn about my client and their individual story, the more authentic and successful the shoot is.
What do you love most about your job?
Working with all different kids of people and creating images that either tell their story or represent them selves or their brand.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I never set out to run a business, but rather to create and do what I love.
