Don't touch anything or anyone associated with John Sleman or Mark Akerman. History of doing this sort of thing too apparently.

Work started on our house and garage extension in February 2020 and tradesmen were amazing, working during storms and torrential rain. They then continued to work hard through the Covid 19 pandemic, but were rather messy. We got to the point of having windows and doors installed and from then on it was really difficult to get anyone out to finish the work. It is now September and work is still not finished. The garage extension is flooded and has been for a fortnight. Our tarmac driveway is still covered in cement residue. We can’t open one of the garage windows and the Velux windows won’t stay open. We have recently had our conservatory roof replaced and the space refurbished by this company. From day one they were efficient, honest and professional. The quote provided for the work was clear and concise and above all, the price was good value for the work eventually carried out. John and his son, Jay, were respectful and polite at all times and always cleared up at the end of the day. Their work was good quality and we had confidence in what was being done. Although the job did take longer than originally anticipated, much of the delay was caused by factors beyond their control. Instead of a draughty, cold conservatory, we now have a modern, energy efficient room providing a valuable open plan space to supplement our family life. I would not hesitate to recommend Maximise Construction to my friends. More...
