I really cannot recommend Shai highly enough as an event organiser and DJ. It was such a pleasure working with him. He has such a friendly, easy going personality, and worked with us to create an amazing party.

We used Shai, not for the first time, last weekend. He was exceptional as always. He listens to you and what you want and nothing is too much trouble no matter how mad we drove him (and that was pretty mad! ) He was utterly professional both before, during and after. He is very calm and just takes control of everything so you have nothing to worry about on the night. His music is incredible and for us, it wouldn’t be a party without him! All the kids and adults danced and he was perfect.

We had the best time ever! Shai had everything planned and under control to perfection. I will definitely use him again for my future simchas!

We Just had our daughters bat mitzvah which Shai helped organise as well as providing the music. From start to finish he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. His knowledge in the industry together with his professionalism made our planning totally stress free! Everything on the night ran smoothly and he had everyone (kids and adults) on the dance floor all night. I have another 3 bar/bat mitzvah’s and a 40th in the near future and will definitely be using his services again and be recommending him to everyone I know. Shai and his team were phenomenal at every stage of our event . From beating all the quotes we had from suppliers to advising us on timings Shai had everything up his sleeve . On the day of the event They were efficient , professional and responsive to all our needs and suggestions . Shai had his eye on everything and meant that we didn’t have to worry about anything , he reads the room , pitches the pace and the music to perfection and communicated seamlessly throughout . Shai made the room look out of this world , everyone was blown away he understood our vision and delivered it completely surpassing all our expectations . Shai Gat and maxime events are top quality. Maxime events is my only choice for any occasion big or small! We have used Shai and his team for various celebrations from 40th birthdays to our wedding. We had Shai DJ our twins batmitzvah this weekend.. I knew it was gona be good but I never imagined just how amazing!!! Where do I begin. From the first time we met Shai to talk about my daughter's Batmitsvah , he put us at ease and and made us feel confident that he would deliver a great event. He advised on the structure of the evening and put together the timings of the night based on what we said we wanted to include. He guided us through the staging and helped us to decide what we would need in terms of lighting, back drops, stage, screens, microphones and the dance floor. He helped us to source a live singer who was absolutely fantastic and organised the sound system we would been for the entertainment we had planned. In the week before he made sure everything was on track and sorted out some of the finer details. He was very flexible and incorporated the needs of the caterer.

On the night he had everything perfectly organised. We had emphasised the importance of keeping both the adults and children on the dance floor the whole time and he achieved this by playing a fantastic mix of songs that kept the dance floor full all night. He was fantastic and exceeded our expectations.

Shai is an absolute pleasure to work with and I would wholeheartedly recommend him and Maxine Events for any Bar or Batmitsvah. More...

We had our son's bar mitzvah and used Shai.
At first I spoke with Shai on the phone and immediately he understood what kind of atmosphere I wanted to create for the kids party. When we met Shai he gave us lots of tips on how to structure our event. He had even helped us find dancers, helped with floor plan and how to create a "wow" factor when making an entrance.
When planing an event it is so important to work with professional people that can assure you that all will be provided as you want and Shai was amazing to deal with.
I can not recommend him enough!

What a party! Thank you so much for making it all happen. I had a brilliant time and the whole evening exceded my expectations on so many levels. The video of Eva playing the Ukelele wells me up, and one which I will enjoy watching year after year.

We recently used Shai for my husbands 40th birthday. Not only is Shai an incredible DJ, he was such a pleasure to deal with. He made some great suggestions which helped make the evening one we will never forget. We only had a small number of guests and were worried that people wouldn't dance but Shai managed to keep everyone on the dance floor all night!
